Not yet, but around november it will be.

I bought one early because I didn't have a ds, and am playing a bunch of ds games I missed out on. So I would say if you don't have a ds, then the 3ds is worth it now :P

He's got a point. MGS3D was a sure buy for me, but the HD collection is far more enticing. I do think Snake Eater will play better on the 3DS due to less menu swapping, but the ability to buy Peace Walker-which I have barely even started, MGS2, and MGS3 in hd@60fps? Yeah, I think I'm going for the latter. Theatrical centric games like Metal Gear cater better to the larger screen, as well. Not only that, but most PS3 hd remakes also offer stereoscopic 3d, so theres the possibility of that too.

but to be fair, no system is ever worth it until at least a year after launch.

What's your point? Where did I mention the graphics of the 3DS version? I said it is likely going to PLAY better because of less menu swapping, thanks to the touch screen. MGS3 is one of my favorite games of all time, and the one fault I had with it was consistently pausing the game. The 3DS rids the game of this problem.

Well I think it's worth it. I have had mines over a month now and I am happy with it, I got Zelda OOT and Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars and both games I am really enjoying. I won't say it's perfect as it does have it's flaws like the circle pad, would be great if it had like a thumb grip or something, as it can get annoying if your thumb is sweaty. The d-pad could have been bigger for games like Street Fighter. But I can easily say it is worth every penny and there is some pretty cool features and the video service seems pretty cool, I found Oscar's Oasis to be enjoyable and I look forward to seeing more of it.

There is plenty of up coming games I want and hopefully Nintendo announce the next installment of the Advance Wars series.

Not to me, i m one of those ´´few´´ that got eye pain within seconds of playing it. Without the 3d effect it losses its charm, graphically the 3ds was a dissapointment ;(

If you are interested in some of the games available then it's worth it. The 3DS is a good system.

No, the system is a joke.
All the games on it are a joke; none of the games are difficult at all.
It's a system which has games that you can't lose playing on.

If I had to rank it from 1-5 it would be the rank-Casual.

Omni-Wrath

the holidays are rolling around you know. Many awesome looking games coming out.

But are they difficult?
I want a system with games that are HARD. Game not made for 10 year olds A challenge that I can enjoy.

play steel diver with the huge sub and beat mission3...it has me yelling curse words at the wall lol

get steel diver its a nice challenge after mission 2.. reminds me of playing mario1 and mario 3 and cursing type difficulty..

theres only like 7 missions though..

pilot wings is challenging if you want to get a 3 star rating...but it doesnt make you rage liike steel diver.

Not really, that comparison shot is not in 3DS's favor. It all comes down to your preference in the lighting. I'm pretty confident that overall the 3DS will look better, but that comparison isn't showing it.
