Is anybody here strictly Wii U and 3DS?

EDIT: I am not just a Wii U/3DS owner, but considering how there is **** all to play on my PS Vita and PS4, I may as well be.

I got a 3DS last year when I moved, had a ton of Xbox 360 games I couldn't bring with me so I traded them in, got a 3DS XL. I had a ton of credit left over and I was gonna get a PS4 or XBO but I decided to get a Wii U instead and wait until the dust settled on the XBO and PS4 end. PS4 is the obvious winner but at the same time there's really nothing out for it I want ATM, nothing that demands rushing to get one anyways. I still have a PS3 and Wii I play from time to time.

Between the two though I have more than enough to keep me occupied.

I'm not strictly 3DS and Wii U as I also have a PC, but here's how I roll:

PC: 3rd party and any good first party games

Wii U: Nintendo/3rd party exclusives

3DS: Handheld fun

It's quite a blast, other than the fact that my wallet can't handle it

It's incredible. Though I do fire up the PS3 for some baseball.

I only have a 3DS and Wii U, but that's because I haven't been able to decide whether to buy an Xbone or PS4. Neither has a good game lineup yet.

But to answer the question, I have plenty to play. Not so much on the Wii U, but I have at least three games on my 3DS that I still need to finish, and I've been hooked on Smash Bros. I haven't been starved for games since the 3DS's first year on the market.

I am pretty much Wii U and 3DS. I do have a PC but my kids play games on it more than I do. I also have a Vita that is just another netflix device. I also am borrowing my bros PS3 to play GT5/6.
I have over 30 games for Wii U right now and thats keeping me busy, plus VC!

I have both, but hell no, I wouldn't be an 'only Wii U and 3DS owner'. I owned a Wii and DS and I wouldn't have wanted only those two last gen either. I owned a Gamecube and GBA and I wouldn't have just wanted those two in that gen, etc.

I would be jealous of all the other games releasing on various platforms, I wouldn't be able to stand it.

That said, 2014 was such a shitty gaming year, the situation would have been tolerable this year. It wouldn't have been so bad...this year. Next year though, that's when I would be wanting more machines.

That would really suck. You wouldn't be able to enjoy Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Master Chief Collection, Fiveclub, Infamous, and so on.

Unless the Xbone gets full 360 BC, I'm going Wii U + PC only this gen.

In terms of the current gen, they are the only two with a sizable enough library to merit a purchase at this point. They are the only two I've bought so far. Although I don't use the 3DS very much in comparison to the Wii U which is getting pretty much all of my gaming time right now.

im not trolling. I seriously want to know what it's like to not play any realistic looking games. I don't know if mass effect 3 port counts. nintendo needs to develop some in-house mature themed games. It won't hurt them, they can keep putting out their mario's and zelda's but the people who started out with Nintendo 30 years ago are all grown up now, it would be nice to have some adult games thrown into the mix. If not then develop a system strong enough so 3rd party developers would want to release their adult games on a Nintendo system.

thats plain dumb, because the X1 is getting a lot of seriously good exclusives. you're missing out on next gen because the console won't play last gen games? dumb mentality.

Its fun? I mean I work all day in the "real" world, why would I want to come home and play a "realistic" game when I am dealing with reality on a daily basis? Its nice to jump into Hyrule or the Mushroom Kingdom to relieve some stress. I honestly played more "mature" games as a teenager than I do as an adult. I still played my Nintendo GCN at the time as that was my favorite console but I played more Counter-Strike and PC FPS than anything else.. Now its the other way around.

That is exactly how I felt when I was 14.

So far most new gen games are also on last gen consoles. So having just a Wii U and a last gen system isn't so bad.

I have a 360 and have access to pretty much all the Forza/Gears/Halo games and none of the Xbone's new exclusives have proven themselves yet. At the very least I'll wait 2-3 years, but it's just not something worth owning right now unless it's your only platform.

Well, I decided to get a ps4 recently. Still too early, nothing to play on that thing. But it will work out eventually. I've always been a Nintendo and Sony console gamer. The last serious proposal that made me want a 360 was Banjo, but they effed that up and there's nothing on One, so alas I remain a Sony/Nintendo man.

I've got a ps4 as well but I never really turn it on. Think I've got 5 retail games and a few psn ones. Shinobi is the best game on the console, but its just a shit system in a lot of ways. Same games as last gen. 3rd party support yeah, but 3rd party supporting it with last gen games.
