is anyone else tired of "sony has won 2008 statement?"

At that time they didnt even know if they were going to bring the Halo franchise to PC, now that they do and they have a PC OS thats selling horribly they are probably going try try to bring it out as fast as possible so they can move some copies of vista. Halo 3 for PC will probably come out in 2008. But it doesnt even matter when it comes out for PC because th fact of the matter is that it will eventally come out for it.

if you read my link you could clearly see bungie has no intrest in porting halo3 on the pc anytime soon

Well, Bioshock is a multiplat and Halo 3 is going to go to PC eventually so the only way the 360 can actually claim "victory" in 2007 is if Mass Effect wins.

bioshock is still on the 360 and not on the ps3 this isnt ps3vs 360vs pc

Halo 2 only took that long because they wanted it to come out with vista so they could make it vista only to sell more copies. And this is system wars it is between all systems so its pretty much 360 vs PS3 vs PC vs Wii and PSP vs DS.

When people "System X has 200-whenever won" they usually just refer to the consoles. Then you have the hermits come in and say "die console gamers, PC games are superior."I just realized SW is about as repetitive as FPS games :( ...I feel slow for just realizing this.

Its wayyy to early to tell, GOTY could be UT3, Haze, Uncharted, Heavenly sword, cod 4, Assassins creed, mercinaries, GOW 2, metroid, ssbb, Mario...ect...ect...ect. There are tons of GOTY worthy games coming out and it is premature to say lemmings, sheep, cows or hermits have won. For all we know we could all be winners. For example if Assassins creed gets goty no one can claim "ownage".

we dont want to make hermits feel left out but the truth is that system wars is very much about wich console has the better game, we all know the pc has the biggest library and the best looking games but pc has never been in competetion with consoles it was really about ps2 vs dreamcast ps2vsgamecubevsxbox ps3vs360vs wii

haze looks good but it will not survive against the other fps this year like bioshock, halo3, unreal, crysis

But I am still looking forward to Nintendo's line up if not just for online Mario Kart battles

the real truth is nobody knows what is actually going to come out on PS3 next year, the games we know of now have bennin planning for a long time, PS3 has some huge games to be revealed, so the PS3 has won, also i want to see the new ROCKSTAR EXCLUSIVE game, and i want to see the TEAM ISO game, also kingdom hearts 3, sooo much more we dont know about, so PS3 gets good things,and even more

GTA 4 and UT3 will get me through 2008 as a 360 owner. And no I don't care if its exclusive or not, I will probally enjoy as much as any exclusive. I'll also will still be playing Halo 3 or COD4. And I'm probally gonna be picking up Army of 2 and Mercenaries in 2008, so I'm pretty set for 2008 gaming wise.

Well yeah I'm just mentioning those because of the developers history. Not just talking about how these games will affect the PS3 sales-wise. Quality is just as important.
