Is Anyone still waiting for PS3 bioshock??

Haven't had a chance to play it on the PC yet , so if they do a good PS3 version I would rather just rent it for the PS3 than have to pay to play it on PC.

Its a FPS...and the FPS part of it is horrible...which makes 95% of the gameplay not fun at all....the controls, weapons, and everything thats supposed to be really good in FPS games is just average in Bioshock

You are dead wrong. The gameplay in Bioshock is great.

The combat is visceral and exciting, the plasmids are fun to use, and the environmental interaction works quite well.

The controls in Bioshock are as good as the controls in pretty much any console FPS, and the weapons look nice and sound nice, and feel like they have power to them.

I can't even understand where you are coming from.

Bioshock is a rental at best. Game was overated junk. Glad i sold it back for something else. Have you kids played any good FPS games? 60 Bucks for that? Call of Duty 4 also 60 bucks for 5 hours of gameplay.

The story is amazing, the writing is great, the voice acting is superb, the setting is darkly beautiful, the graphics are awesome, the combat is visceral and intense, and the gameplay is rewarding.

It is by no means "overrated junk".

I really don't think that a lot of people UNDERSTOOD BioShock. NO one I talk to really seems to understand the story, and the amazing depth and philosophy that it has. The shooting was totally amazing, I really can't see why anyone would dislike it. You can throw enrage one guy to make him attack his buddy, then pitch an explosivecanister at both of them withtelekinesis.

Also if you played that game the CORRECT way (exploring every nook and cranny, taking in the amazing world that it has to offer) then the game is 20+ hours. These shooter players are just too action hungry to enjoy a moresophisticatedgame like BioShock.

Just out of curiousity, why do you think the combat is lame? I thought it was really intense and enjoyable, if a little chaotic.
