I'm kind of skeptical about buying this game. i heard its really repetitive. If i can get some feedback telling me the pros and cons of this game, hopefully it'll help me with my decision.

Does the fact that the protagonist automatically jumps from ledge to ledge take away from the experience? I just played the demo of Stranglehold and he automatically interact with some things and i thought that ruined the whole mood. Is Assassin's Creed anything like that?

Its a love or hate game. I didn't think it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I had fun playing every moment of it. Very little replay value though (imo). Rent it if you're on the fence.

The only missions you'll ever do is assassinate and sometimes collect flags to help your comrads. But if you don't limit yourself into doing that, you can start huge fights, explore, and find some flags. If you're still not sure, rent it or borrow it from a buddy.

Also, how do I have the worst profile here? :?

Hehe I tried to avoid city fights when I first started the game, but by the end... those damn harassers and crazy people just start to grind the nerves.

Man dont make the same mistake as i did you will beat yourself up over how stupid you were to spend your money on that trash. Rent it insteed if you want to se how it is becuase after you have finish the game you will never pick it up again.

The only reason why i finished the game was becuase i spended 60 bucks on it.

I hate those harassers and beggers. They always ruin the mission for me, especially if I want to kill the leader of Jeresulem quietly. But it ends up in a huge fight.

I'm just going to assume that the harrassers and beggers are on the Templar's side since they always go after me lol. :P

this game is well over-hyped. the novelty wears off after an hour, the levels are unbelievably repetitive as are the side missions, the combat is tedious and the controls dont hold up in intense situations. if ever there was a game made to be rental only, this is it

Give it a rental I persoanlly bought the game and I am glad I did. It has low replay value (like bioshock) but was well worth the money. The game has done so much for the sandbox genre I have posted many times on the topic. If huge levels, lifelike AI (best in the genre), Most in depth combat system in any sandbox game, one of the few games that actually lives up to the "do anything go anywhere" hype since GTA. If all of that doesn't sell you then the sandbox genre really isn't your type of game.

Wrong, to say a type of music that a wide majority of people have asphyxiated themselves to sucks, is ignorant. Rap paved the way to the expression of feelings for the supressed or unheard (in the beginning, See Rappers Delight or The Message). Old school hip hop had lyrics that meant something, they had social relevance, Rap (Hip Hop) brought the culture new dance styles and progressed dance to the extent we know today.

i got it for xmas and was skeptical too.. the beginning 30 mins or so is sooooo boring.. just a bunch of cutscenes.. but once u get use to the fighting and learn to counter and do combos.. the game is insanely fun.. i can take out a whole village.. its fun to be surrounded by lik e8 guys and take them all out with combos and counterattacks
