Blizzard greedy? Why make a question that has an answe right in front of you. Of course they are, they are selling a PC game for 60 dollars when most PC games that are of higher quality than Starcraft 2 are cheaper. They are selling the same game 3 times with different single player for full price. These people make over 100 millions every month from WoW and have their own convention. Why must they overprice a game when they are already richer than most companies? Blizzard were great at one point but the tactics it uses disgust me.

There aren't very many PC games that are higher quality than StarCraft II, and the campaign in WoL is more than 20 hours long. There is no rip-off here.

Yes, there are plenty, quit being so biased and accept that it is not worth the 60 dollars. As a fan of Blizzard and an RTS gamer myself, I see this.

I'm not being biased at all. I've played the freakin' game.

Um. You do realise that each of the single player campaigns is roughly 30 missions long. You will get more time out of SCII on the singleplayer that many games multiplayer....

People in the US are complaining ?! They rarely grasp the notion that the US isn't the entire planet. For example, in Europe SC2 is being sold for the sweet, sweet price of 60 euros. That's almost 77 USD. How about that ?N-K0d3R

And here (NZ) the standard edition is $120 (all games are these days.... Thats roughly $88 EDIT: (US). Its still worth every penny.

I don't understand. Why would anyone want a digital copy for the same price as a physical copy? You can do so much with a physical copy than a digital copy. Why limit yourself?nchan

cuz it's more environmental friendly, and some ppl dont have time to order it online or pick up in store.

Do the games outside the U.S. include VAT into the price? This may explain why the prices are high.

Also, we need to consider issues like cost-of-living and tariffs into the price of games outside the U.S.

They're greedy in the sense you're paying for a 1/3 of a game. You're essentially going yo pay 180 for Sc2 in full.

Nope, try again. The other parts will be priced as expansions.

Have you played the game, at all? Because I'm gathering that you have not, and if thats the case, how the hell do you know how good it is? :|

It's popular to hate Blizzard ever since Vivendi inherited Activision, dunno why.

LOL, no, its actual popular to love Blizzard and make them seem as they are the PC god.

I played the mutliplayer beta actually. I havent played the game yet because I wont pay 60 dollars for 1/3 of a game when I can get 3/3 of the game in a battlechest for 50 dollars later on. I dislike the multiplayer so I'll borrow it from a friend soon.

Still that's going to be $140, SC1 had all of them at launch and then just has one expansions.... That's how it should of been.

But each campaign is as long as StarCraft in it's entirety. That's not even mentioning new units/upgrades they might make...

I dont know what it is that makes it so impossibly hard for people to grasp the fact that Starcraft 2 is shipping with a full length campaign.
