I actually rly like the cover. Its a cool concept and looks nice. Very well done. And fits in with the game quite well.

Yeah, it's supposed to be edgy just like the game's personality which all comes off pretty lame

No. I'm dead serious. Best cover in years. I'm tired of the boring "main character holding gun in front of boring background" covers we get this generation.

I like the ocver, looks cool and is funny. If I do buy the game I will definetly get it on the 360 like I do most of my multiplats.

some peopel ahve pointed out how the cover is supposed to stand out and catch your eye (and perhaps make curiouslity), and they're right.

looks like the cover has spawned this thread, which is marketing for the game. we've all fallen into the dev's traps. remember the ps3? the boomeragng controller was just there to stir drama aand get the people talkinga bout it for free marketing, thn sony showed us the real controller.

I wouldnt say its a joke but its nothing special, seen better covers and even better ones to come. Theres alot of red in the cover which i suppose makes it stand out in a store with ODST games all around it? :P

None of the people who said the cover is offensive made any sense. The character is not holding a gun to his head, you do realize this, right? And the 'brains' he is blowing out with his HAND is just a montage of what happens in Borderlands. Get a grip people. It's not like a painting of the Virgin Mary made out of elephant poop, it's a pop art cover for a video game that applies and is no more offensive than the actual game it represents. We are clear on what we are getting into here, and the cover does not spell out the gore in anyway.

After playing the game, I think the cover matches the game perfectly, that enemy in the front is crazy!
