No its quite a crappy game from the go no where story to the fact the story is pretty much exactly what happens in the first 3 or so hours of final fantasy 7 ps1 to the cliche that some how nearly the exact same events happen to cloud as they did to zach. as well the story just adds another layer of plot holes to an all ready plot hole filled and mishmashed story they are turning it into with the movie and dirge of cerberus...ect
The gameplay is bad its easy as hell you can go through the entire game doing attk attk dodge without dieing much if at all, the spells are silly since using your sword is really all you need to do The slots aren't as random as people think and tend to give you fud when you really need it if things do get hard, lvling up isn't random either basically the whole slots thing was a way to make you think you were playing a different game then all the past final fantasies.
Design bad, dont have such big towns if your gonna populate them with only 2 people midgar alone you have so much room yet theres like 2 people too see, there are about 30 unqiue enemies in the game reused to make over 60 or so different enemies, the side missions are just that next to no importance and use the same generic maps as the main game does you will do about 100+ side missions that all use the same 7 maps and uusally you just have to kill most of the monsters on the map.
The game is repetitive in the extreme, luckily its short my fastest time is 5-6 hours.

Do you know how many **** jrpgs come out of japan? Basically, Crisis Core is a good jrpg, but a lousy rpg compared to western standards. Fanboys and girls will turn a blind eye to anything that has sephiroth in it.
