How many topics about Crysis graphics have been around?? I'm not here everyday and I'm already sick of them :xGreenGoblin2099What he said and killzone topics i can't wait to play it but the hype threads are becoming to much.
No. No sir it's not. It depicts a realistic war. How can it be pretty?
The Windwaker is pretty. Okami is pretty. Paper Mario is pretty. Heck, even Halo is pretty. Crysis is not.
The part where Psycho had to go through the mining complex looked absolutely incredible.

I was unaware of the fact that I was playing a depiction of a "realistic war" after I was fighting against a giant robot infront of a train tunnel in the middle of a frost sphere on a tropical island inhabited by million year old aliens :?
By the way, the snow and ice levels of Crysis Warhead looked very pretty. Waves frozen in the middle of the ocean are awesome.

Lol, obviously the setting isn't what you'd describe as war. The sheer amount of realism in all the characters and effects is what i was referring to. Smashing a little korean dudes face is is anything but pretty.Realistic? None of the military hardware, let alone the aliens, are even real.No. No sir it's not. It depicts a realistic war. Sure that isn't, but stopping to watch the sunset on a tropical beach sure is.

Yep, with all the claret blood flowing down the Brutes violet armor. So pretty.

Throwing a korean through a shack as it collapses is even more so.Heavy rain is way better plus crysis has horrible gameplay, level design and story so i couldnt be bothered playing past the third level.brumley53You say HEavy rain is way better, and although from the pictures it's going to be beautiful, then you go on to degrade Crysis's gameplay? Heavy Rain is going to be an interactive movie as has been stated by the developers. I think you can chalk one up ion the gameplay department for Crysis on this one (Even though Heavy Rain hasn't even been released)
Techincally it looks good, but I wouldn't call it pretty...BuryMe
If you don't find this pretty...
...then you might want to schedule an eye exam.
Even with playing Crysis Warhead on high settings, there are several games that I find to be more pretty and more appealing. Team Fortress 2, The Witcher, and even GTA4 are games that I like visually more than I do Crysis. Not to say that Crysis has no soul because it does. But these games offer much better art direction.mo0ksiSaved me some typing there, thanks.
