is EA bad for sports games?

FIFA and winning eleven is a toss up (I USUALLY GET ONE OR THE OTHER EVERY YEAR) but other then that i really do not see EA sports games as must owns. i prefer NCAA over madden in football but ive always liked the 2K football games the best. basketball is pretty much the same for me. 2K has the better game. after playing all pro football, madden, and NCAA demo's on PSN, NCAA really needs some work. madden is still madden which means even with very few offline options, all pro is a better game. animation, control, line play, stadiums, and AI all go to 2K's game. and in all pro, you actually feel like you make a difference on defense.

since EA has been grabbing all the license for the sports, i feel they are slacking because they dont have to make a better game. now since 2K is no longer making collage basketball, that is another choice gone. and since i prefer collage over pro games, that leaves me with nothing to get next year. im not saying EA football is bad. its just not the best. i like NCAA! but its a tweek here and there does nothing for me.

try not to be an EA fanboy and give all pro a try. play a few games. you may be surprised by the quality of the game. their last football game wasnt the highest rated out on the last gen systems for nothing.

EA= the rise and serious fall of sports games

they made sports games an epic powerhouse for fun and quality. but now the quality is gone, so now its just millions of people buying crappy games every year paying full price. what a great scam. :?

but i noticed that innovation die around 2003. that was the last great madden in my opinion. all they do now is update the roster every year, tweak a few things, and still charge full price. i think what theyve been doing is terrible. if thats all theyre going to do than games like madden should be about $40, not $60.
