@heirren: It's not that it's different from the original games....
It looks like the last of us or uncharted with it's narrative driven design. GOW is very similar to other Sony Exclusives. Like I said not a bad thing, but it wasn't adding anything new to the formula
Nah man not trolling. At least post a decent pic and if you post a vid capture just post the entire vid. GoW is good for a lot of reasons which ive stated here and elsewhere.

Okay, fire up the game and take us a decent pic. I'll wait.
Tell you what. I'll ask you only one question. If you deflect, you admit defeat.
Would a direct screenshot capture add in a shadow for that enemy?
Here's the gameplay clip at 27 seconds in.

No im not seeing a shadow. I wonder why that is. It is mentioned later in the video that some surfaces do not reflect realtime objects in the game. Maybe this is the case here as, even though i see grass, maybe that is one of these shiney, mirror-like surfaces? Thats really searching for a flaw, one that is just part of a cut scene?
Regardless, just wow on that video. The lighting is just so spectacular. The area with the red leaves and how those colors reflect and have a cause amd effect on the rest of the scene. Its subtle but it adds a lot. After watching that video im surprised you can even call metro the better looking game. So much attention to detail in God of War.
@heirren: Every game has flaws when you search for them, just like you did with Metro Exodus. This is the point that I've been trying to make and you refused to acknowledge.
Chances are it may have had shadows at one point, but they took them away for framerate purposes. Notice that the framerate is pretty bad during that scene, even without shadows. Even so, no developer is perfect.
I'm not going to lie(like you with Metro) and say God of War doesn't look good, but the technical limitations of the platform hold it from being graphics king over huge graphical contenders like Metro, Battlefield 5, and etc. Where lighting isn't baked in every scene, and can be rendered naturally through either ray tracing or a better GI manipulation.
I will always notice flaws in games, and won't deter from pointing out said flaws. For instance, even modded up Witcher 3 has flaws. Notice the candlelight does not produce shadows from the chair.
When did i say there was no shadow? I have zero issue admitting when i am wrong.
You literally had to pull a split second from a cut scene. As a whole, the texture work in God of War is just leagues ahead of metro. This comes down to time/budget/talent. Like i said everything looks hand crafted and it shows.

No, it's not. Wow, you are fucking hopeless. Forget it. You can live in your little dream world where playstation games with shoddy texture work are somehow better than real 4k textures on PC.
