Many people say that GTA San Andreas is better than GTA 4.Is it true.
I don't know because my PC doesn't support it.

I played the first San Andreas mission and was like nahhhhhhh i'm going back to Vice City. Many people say that GTA San Andreas is better than GTA 4.Is it true.

It's my favorite.
The thing with San Andreas is that it utilized all the foreknowledge of the PS2 and the devs already knew everything they had to know with past experience to GTA 3 and Vice City.
The same thing will happen this generation in terms of content IMO. GTA IV focused around the building of the engine, etc, but (hopefully) when future GTA games get released, they will focus a lot more on content.
SA had the most and best content. I liked it the best.
San Andreas was my favorite in the series, though I'll concede, Tommy Vercetti is and always will be the best GTA Protagonist.
Ive played vc on ps2 owned it on xbox and I want to buy it for my pc so that I can make some new mods even thought the ones out are great
oh Gta vc>>Gta Iv=Gta 3>>>Saints Row>>>Gta Sa
I think it's better than IV at least.carljohnson3456
Did you pick your username because you liked the game or is carl really your real name? :P

Agreed completely, and that's really how I'm hoping it will be this gen. GTA4, for me was a big disappointment, though I do still like it. But my ideal GTA game will be one that has GTA4's attention to detail (and maybe even more detail with more places to go), and SA's features, variety, and fun factor.
Why does your PC not support it? I love it on my PC. Yes San Andreas is the best GTA of them all. Many people say that GTA San Andreas is better than GTA 4.Is it true.

lol I like the name Carl but no... I did it because I love the freaking game, lol. There was a time I was debating selling my PS2 with all my games my senior year in high school, but ended up not. Then the summer after I graduated I was off from work... I fired up a game of San Andreas, and I ended up playing for 8 hours straight. Literally. I've never taken a "break" from gaming since then. I've always loved the GTA games, but for whatever reason when SA launched I played it for a few days and then quit it. But then I finally beat it a year later. Basically, San Andreas kept me gaming. lol.It may have not been the best GTA, but it was still a good game. I love the opening intro to the game too.. I have no clue why but it's just awesome. "Carl, It's sweet." "Whats up, Sweet, what you want?" "It's mom.. she's dead bro."Dr_SnoodIts argubly the best.
San Andreas is the higheset selling GTA game of all time and its the 2nd highest rated GTA of all time. You do the math. GTA San Andreas in my opinon is the best GTA game ever made. Its way better than Vice City. I din't like the 80's theme at all. It felt boring and cheesy. GTA San Andreas > GTA III > GTA IV > 2 day old dog poo, > GTA Vice city Soulja_West
I agree.
I hated "Vice City" myself--played it for two days and never touched it again. It was a complete turn off for me after the dark, gritty, and urban style of Liberty City I fell in love with so much. "San Andreas" was awesome though, but "GTA III" still remains my favorite at the moment.
In my opinion, it still has the best radio station choices as well.
GTA: SA is better to me because of the sim emulate and the wacky and crazy stuff. Why take the sim and crazy things from GTAIV?
"Best" is subjective, but it's probably my joint favourite GTA along with Vice City. VC used to be my favourite all on its own but I played SA again recently and it was even more fun than I remembered. I think I prefer the overall story, characters and music in VC, but I prefer the huge size of SA's game world, and the fact that there was much more variety. Sure, a lot of SA's world was empty, but I always loved just jumping on a Sanchez and heading out into the country, or taking a plane as high as it would go and jumping out.
San Andreas is the most uneven game of the series IMO. Sure, it had more content, but at the expense of polish and cohesiveness.I'm one of those people that was extremely happy that GTAIV got rid of all SA's frivolous features.
My opinion:
GTAIV>Vice City>GTAIII>San Andreas.

GTA: SA was my least favorite of the series, but it truly offends me to see a Saints Row game lumped in with GTA games. :P
I hated San Andreas. It was my least favorite. For me, it's between GTA3 and Vice City. I liked 4 too, but it was just a little too realistic
id Have to say it beats GTA III barely...but it beats GTA IV by miles!A lot more interactive...and the storyline was way better than GTA IV. And don't come crying to me saying "bu bu bu- teh ghetto!" because thats worthless when your playing as a walking contradiction known as niko bellic who is nothing but a lackey making the character from GTA III look like a big shot(he was a lackey too, but at least he never complained as much or had a over dramatic back story or an annoying cousin).
