I think so, the only one I didn't enjoy was ODST. Loved Halo 3.

I'm surprised at how well CoD performs. Surely by now they're just re-releasing the same bloody game all over again and again and again.

HalcyonScarlet

People like that same game over again and again and again.

EDIT: Oh, and MW =/= Black Ops.

Yeah they're fun, but they can't change much.
Regardless of major changes or not.

And PS3 is the 'fastest selling' system, whats your point? This only matters with Halo oh ok.Sir-I_exCalibur
Ok when Halo 4 has been going on its 7th year and still the least selling Halo like how the PS3 is the least selling system then I will agree Halo is not relevant.

As of now the standings are PS3 1st, WiiU second, and 360 standing as a dead console atm.

In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary "come again"?

Why the spoiler?

I have nothing against what people like, just meant i'm surprised it doesn't effect sales. With a yearly sports game I get it.

A lot of other companies games sales start to decline when they push a series too hard.

It is declining, just not by much.

Tough to call a game that will most likely sell ten million copies irrelevent.

Relevant, yeah because it sells. I have no interest in it now though. Loved the first one though.

Halo still pulls a lot of weight.

For a single console, it rakes in the money. A few nights back, there were roughly 120,000 people online... so people play it. I love Spartan Ops on legendary with some buddies. What a nutso ride...

Halo is awesome. All of them. Too bad Microsoft don't have very many other good exclusives. Probably sticking with PC and PS4 next gen.

Halo is still fun as hell. I actually think 343i did a great job with Halo 4. It's not perfect, but pretty impressive for a dev's first work!

PAL360

Yeah. The campaign was at least pretty damn good

With the exception of Halo CE and Halo 3, Halo 4 had my favourite Halo campaign. Take off those annoying QTEs and add some scarab battles, and it will be amazing. I also found the mp to be surprisingly addicting.

I did love scarab battles  :P

The MP is awesome too, but I'd change some things. Loadouts fixed some issues from previous Halos, but they messed up a few other things too.

If you grew up playing duke nukem 64 and 007 goldeneye on n64 you wouldnt of been as impressed with halo as you would of been never playing those games on n64.beingoldROCKS
I played those games, and pc fps, long before Halo. I still thought Halo was impressive. There was nothing like it beforehand as far as structure, scope, ai, control, visuals, and multiplayer(for consoles). Halo 4 is in my top 5 games this gen. It's incredible(save for those few silly qtes, one of which dampened the overal experience a tad.

That's completely bogus. I grew up playing those games and Halo easily left the biggest impression on me. Dude you're so cool for being a 90s kid. Congrats.

Yeah it's the best multiplayer shooter on consoles, and it's campaign and co-op aren't half bad either.

I grew up playing Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Quake and Unreal series on PC, Medal of Honor on PS1, Goldeneye and Turok series on N64, and still think Halo is pretty good.

Biggest impression? lol halo didnt even have bot support in the multiplayer like duke nukem 64.

Yeah I didn't have that problem because I always had friends over.

I think Halo started to lose its appeal when Reach was made, but Halo 4 came out and made it fresh again.

Its already outsold almost every single PS3 exclusive bar one. Yeah, I'd say its still relevant.

It's still relevant, it's just been overtaken by Call of Duty as the mainstream "it" game. That, and franchise fatigue.
people praise halo for hitting a button and you throw a grenade, but you cant hold the grenade and blow yourself up like quake 2. in quake 2 you can use the hand grenades for grenade launcher ammo. in quake 3 you cant use the ammo as hand grenades lol quake 3 blows

Hand grenades aren't the same as grenades fired from a launcher tho.

Not true, I played both and there was a huge evolutionary jump from those to Halo. Technology played a part yeah, but for the first time it felt similar to a PC FPS(UT,Quake 3 area "The multiplayer era"), just with a controller. Halo's multi player exploded with Halo 2.

lol halo wasnt like pc shooters duke nukem 64 is a pc shooter and it's better than halo sorry to tell you. the original xbox was almost dead when halo 2 launched in 2004 man it died in 2005 lol xbox live multiplayer exploded with the original unreal championship in 2002.

Can't wait again

Don't even bother. He must be trolling if he thinks Duke Nukem 64 was a good game.
