So halo 3 sold about 2.5 million in NA on day one and lick king sold 2.8 million world wide. I would think Halo 3 sold at least 500,000 in Europe and other regions also Halo 3 cost more so generated a lot more revenue. AFAIK MS never said exactly how many copies were sold but to generate 170 million in the USA alone in 24 hours is godly.Halo 3's first day sales was around 170 million copies but the full number of copies was never disclosed , some analysis pegged it at 2.34 million so Lich King broke it. Halo 3 generated more revenue, nope, due to the subscription fee of Lich King it generates much more revenue. Aside, I wonder how many copies WoW must have sold by now --- maintaining such a high active subscriber base for such a long timeJamex1987
