Is it possible for PS4 to lose 2017?

Thing is Switch is only going to have a handful of games this year, and Xbox will be pretty much dead until Scorpio comes out. PC has some decent games but PS4 is killing it from all fronts this year including exclusives. So is it safe to say PS4 won 2017 already?

Unlikely that the PS4 doesn't win. As cool as the Switch's lineup looks, it is a system in its first year without having yet found its footing- the PS4 is firing on all cylinders, and nothing is likely to change that.

Switch has a chance to catch fire. Going to wait til E3 to see if Nintendo has surpise sauce on hold for the year. Xbox would need to weave miracles to become relevant. Ps4, as things stand now, looks poised to go very strong up to the holidays.

Aside from the PC it doesn't seem like it can lose this year. I'm not sure if I'd be surprised if the new God of War and Days Gone release this fall. That's what I'm guessing.

Yeah on the console front PS4 is looking to have a strong year. On the whole, I can't imagine Xbone or Switch bringing more to the table. For the low bar that is 8th gen console gaming, PS4 is on fire right now. Quality + quantity, PS4 seems to have it in the bag this year.

Personally, I could come out enjoying the Switch more. If the new Zelda and Mario end up being products of Nintendo firing on all cylinders, that could be enough for me. Nioh is dope as ****, better than I thought it would be, but everything else is wait and see.

It's possible because of the Greatest Lineup in the history of gaming, starting with the Super Flop Halo Wars 2.

Thing is, if a games good I don't care if 25 people play that game. And what makes you say Sea Of Thieves will outsell Nioh? Or Crackdown will outsell Horizon? Or Forza 7 outselling GT Sport? I wouldn't bet on it.

@bobrossperm: Even GT5, which was really a huge letdown, sold big, something like 11 million copies. GTsport sales wise will destroy Forza. Will it be a better game, no idea.
