If it was a Sony release it would still be an exclusive, just like SFV and No Man's Sky etc.
Kinda like SOMA. Great game.

This might be a stupid question:
What does Remedy have against Playstation.
Last I heard they aren't owned by MS, but they don't make their games for the Playstation.

Good question. Who knows, maybe under 2nd party contract that keeps getting renew every gen. Good relation and stability with MS no reason to look at other consoles yet. This is similar to Quantic Dream for Sony after Fahrenheit they never went back to other platforms. not even pc.

Money and backend deals we never see. Their Max Payne games were available for PS2 though
TC, these companies don't define "exclusive" as only playable on one platform. This is NOT, I repeat NOT the only definition of the word. If something excludes one of a possible 3 it is by definition exclusive, even though 2 receive it. MS never lied. They just don't care about our definition of exclusive. And more power to them for not taking this closed from reality, opinionated little world all that serious. So many here claim to do the same: "its just for the lulz"

If this was true M$ never would have waited so long to announce the PC version. They never said Quantum Break was a console exclusive. They repeatedly denied a PC version happening. So yes they lied.
Xbox has no exclusives.
Well it's exclusively not going to be on the PlayStation 4, that's something.
PC is not a console , it means you can still count PS4/PC or Xbox/PC games as console exclusives
"console exclusive" is a weak fanboy fabrication, pretending PC is irrelevant when comparing libraries.
PC IS irrelevant. only fanboys attempt to keep it relevant.

Your argument is irrelevant.

There you go talking about how things should be done as if you run a major corporation. I need a link to one of these MS Xbox division people stating "there will not be a PC version" as you have said they did. Maybe they did, so link us all to the quote.

With Microsoft’s renewed commitment to PC gaming (and with Windows 10’s launch) many gamer’s are wondering if more Xbox One exclusive titles will be making a home for themselves on the PC. After all, Microsoft are bringing Killer Instinct to the PC, and we’ll be seeing Gears of War Ultimate Edition, so what about titles such as Scalebound and Quantum Break?
“In the case of things like Scalebound or Crackdown or Quantum Break, you know, just to be completely honest with you, we started those games before we really looked at expanding into Windows in the way that I wanted to bring as part of becoming head of Xbox,” says Microsoft’s Xbox division head Phil Spencer.
I like how people confuse "no plans" for "definitely wont ever", its an odd concept to get your head around, but plans change.
Also, not sure why this is even an issue. We're still getting QB on XB1, people are angry because more people get to play a game?
What is wrong with these people?!?!

Microsoft has no plans to bring Xbox One games Scalebound, Crackdown 3, or Quantum Break to PC right now, but they could be released for computers later, Xbox boss Phil Spencer says in a new interview.

That was within 5 days of what the article you just posted said. 5 days. MS flat out said of course these games may come to PC. Secondly, it was a Remedy game. They like working with MS and have never been prevented from putting their games on PC. Then we have you. Someone who will go to any length to hate this corporation and the Xbox. I have serious doubts any gamer who games on PC is sitting back cursing MS for making them buy an X1 with their "lies". But that's the picture you wish to paint.

Yep all it took was 5 days for Phil to flip flop because he knew the game was going to PC but didn't want to sabotage any potential X1 sales. They didn't just port a massive project like QB to PC overnight. It was in development for both platforms from the start. He said it wasn't. He lied.
@NathanDrakeSwag: I disagree. I don't think he had the right to say if it was going to PC because MS isnt the developer, they are the publisher, and more importantly where. But now that the deal has been hammered out that it wont be on Steam but on Windows 10 PC then yeah, it makes sense to go forward and announce.
As for lying, hell I'll even agree with ya. Are you free from lying in your life? Would you like to see a thread filled with Sony corps lies? Oh but its all Cardinal sin now right? That's pathetic, high horse bullshit.

Denial does not make a platform irrelevant.
@AdobeArtist: so it's ok just when Sony does it with SFV?
Hilarious
My not inclusively mentioning Sony doesn't imply I'm defending their PR speak, in how they announce a game release. Faulty logic is faulty.
I don't defend anyone doing it, gamer nor corporation. Just as bad as when Microsoft was disingenuous about TR being full on exclusive.
@cainetao11:
May come is not an affirmation at all it may rain it may not. And he say latter on not on the same day dude so you are wrong ms deny this game was coming to pc when it was all alone.
I have said before to you, I give up trying to figure out your non sense. I don't know what the above is trying to say. Spencer lied, hahaha he's a liar, none of us ever has especially employees of Sony, they are angels from heaven Yaaaaaaaay. I don't know how else to let you know there is no point in you ever trying to engage in discussion with me. Enjoy your games.
@AdobeArtist: pc literally cant be a console. Unless you modify downgrade it crazy. And then guess what ?
Its no longer a pc.
Console exclusive is a reasonable term since there a millions of people who only play and switch btw one console.
Unti consoles can run final cut and pro tools etc 4k 1000 fps with a million upgrade they will always be a different market. Parallel yes but not and never will be the same market. Get it in your head
