Is it really better to play RE4 with a wiimote than PS2 analog?

It's the difference between night and day. You can be so much more accurate with the wiimotePopadophalis

You don't require pin point accuracy it isn't darts. so the controller is fine, wii controls are better but it's nothing significant. I still prefer GC controller because i can dodge better on it.

And on the Wii version they made the reticle huge. It would be a lot harder to keep it steady if they gave it the laser pin-point they gave the game on the GC and PS2.

True but you can be alot faster with the pounter allowing you to dispatch numerous enemies with ease.

Gamecube AND Classic controler support

Have you actually used it yourself? How do you use the gamecube controller with I can't seem to do it. Being able to play the game with the gamecube controller would give me another reason to play through the game again:D

Pause the game, unplug the nunchuck and hook up the GC controller or Classic Controller and it should detect them right away. :)

The Wii-mote does make it a little easier though. I enjoy the great controls for headshots and long range shots.

Its even better to play RE4 with the gamecube controller.MojondeVACA

waayyy better....... everything goes much smoother

only down side is that aiming might just be too easy with the wiimote

i personally like the way the laser sight thing looks more tho

It wasnt made easier to adapt the Wiimote, the Wiimote's superior aiming accuracy made it easier to shoot exactly where you wanted. Regardless, its still the best version RE4.

They acctually reduced the damage you do to compensate for the increased accuracy and speed of aiming.

I played it on the PC, with no mouse support!

And TBH, it worked perfectly fine

It wasnt made easier to adapt the Wiimote, the Wiimote's superior aiming accuracy made it easier to shoot exactly where you wanted. Regardless, its still the best version RE4.

Yea I just played the wii version with both the wii remote and the gc controller and I was killing guys alot quicker with the gc controller. two shouldershots shouldn't normally kill a ganado

I've played all 3 versions and Wii is clearly the best.If i had to nit pick at something it would be that instead of getting the cool laser pointer in the other versions you get some fat cursor as your gun aim.Its honestly not a problem but it would be nice if you could change it with wiimote.

I thought that originally but having the cursor change red when you are on target is a useful addition which just doesn't work with the laser pointer when targeting far away enemies.
