Oh, but apparently the tiny blurry texture in DMC4 PS3 makes it vastly inferior. Or how about those jaggies in the 360 version of GTA4. Big differences I tell you, we should all analyze the pics for hours instead of playing the games, that makes more sense.

:PWhat I think it comes down too -- and I coud be wrong, but this is my take in all this. Cows -- though Sony did most of the talking for them -- constantly touted the PS3 as the "HD console" of the generation, or the "most powerful console on the planet". The hype was led to believe that the PS3 was vastly superior in terms of graphics over the Xbox 360.
You see (from my memory) -- back in 2005, and throughout 2006 the cows constantly jumped on a bandwagon saying the following question: "Where's the next-gen?" The cows constantly bashed the Xbox 360 for its graphics, saying how it "lacks" next-generation features and how it's graphical power is "incredibly weak" in comparison to the PS3.
Were they watching too many CGI videos? Perhaps. Nevertheless, word got out that the PS3 was a "pain" to develop for -- much like how the PS2 was. And that the Xbox 360 was "Developer friendly" and a breeze to develop for. The excuses came out like a bee swarm from a boy smacking the bee hive. Developer incompetence, not enough time ("just wait") were jut a few of those excuses.
And now, even years down the line -- the multiplatform games are nearly the same. The vast majority of the time, the multiplatform games are ethier "superior" on the Xbox 360 or "the same". How about that? Older technology still putting up with the more recent hardware. Impressive. Much like the Xbox still being superior to the Wii... oh whoops. I digressed. :P
Lemmings stilll have a field day in regards to this, though I don't think there's a single one fanboy from the old SW days back in 2005 and 2006. Pity. Haha.
Good times.
Isn't it just amazing how the Xbox1.5 has been able to keep up with the PS3? :P
