no, it's not safe. In the beginning multiplats had better gfx on the 360 (in some cases, arguably, like FNR3). Now the case isn't the same anymore. Multiplats are starting to look better on the PS3 like Virtual Tennis and Oblivion. We can't know for sure wich system is better based on multiplats.

It's on the exclusives we'll see the difference.

Oblivion wouldn't have even run if they hadn't decided to install 4.6 gigs on the HD. If the 360 had gone with a large install, the 360 version would load faster (faster even than the PS3... it's got more ram) and look better than the PS3 version. So how many huge installs can the 60 gig HD on the PS3 hold? In short: not as many as you'd like.

what??? do you work at bethesda? or read some interview with someone from the bethesda staff?? or any link to back what you said? because it's really sounding like an opinion, you're not providing any info that would explain why it would run faster in the 360, that the PS3's ram is problematic for the game (as you said, because it's not enough). Do you understand how development processes go? how do you deal with RAM, the real difference between faster but smaller RAM against slower but larger RAM, Unified against Dedicated? how the RSX in the PS3 can use the Cell to help, so, if the Cell is helping it, it uses it's own RAM or at least access RSX's RAM to provide the processing help. You know that the Blu-ray drive is a bit slower than DVD readers only if the case is when the DVD uses only 1 layer. If the DVD has 2 layers, the Blu-ray is way faster. And so on...

Man, you're post is totally biased, un-informed and ignorant.

do you think it earned that title by now? I mean, on the account that almost all the multiplats are scoring better on X360?

Or multiplat comparison isn't the deciding factor on which console is more powerful?

its safe to say the xbox360 is  a crappy hardware and its the most unreliable next gen system out there..and many  mulitplatform games is look better on the ps3 system already..

The Cell hasn't been fully tapped yet. Neither has Xenos. So i'd say it's still up for grabs.

Oh wait! This is a serious topic?

Why you trying to compare power still. PS3 has been proven over and over and over again that it is more powerful.

Not to mention that 3.2Ghz is a lot faster than 700Mhz. Once developers figure out how to use that to their advantage, of course.

it depends what you go of really, sony seems to think that float point calcs mean its the most powerful, micrsoft seem to think complete system architecture makes the difference. Who cares so long as the games long good, play good and are a lot of fun.

a ferrari is a lot faster than a bus, but it wont get a bus load of people to the destination faster, which is better is still up for grabs by a long shot and the released numbers of each console dont tell the whole story, their respective developers only tell you what they think sounds good.
