Is it safe to say the 360 is the best system for hardcare and casuals.

I think the Wii is a system for just the casuals and PS3 just for the hardcore. The 360 is the best system for both because it provides the best experience of both worlds.

Why would I pay $50 for online when I'm only going to play it every once in a while? I say its PS3. 360's got nothing!

You basically negated your subject with your post. The PS3 is the best system for the hardcore, while the Wii is the best system for casuals, and people aren't both of these types of gamers.

it's the best console, not system, considering how well the games run on it. Ps3 has better exclusives, arguably, but they alone don't make a better console than the 360, which can count on a good architecture that is no hassle for developers, hence better multiplats most of the time.

Ps3 is a close second, but as a gaming system just can't compete with the 360. as a multimedia device, it obliterates the 360, but not in gaming. if it hadn't its best exclusives like uncharted and metal gear solid, then it'd be a total disaster of a console.

the Wii is a good gaming system, but it must stay in third place, because it has a very weak third party support and its awesome exclusives cannot compensate the luckluster, desert library.

Uh, no. The ps3 library is more diverse. There are no games like MGS4, LBP, Heavy Rain, Tumble, Modnation Racers, 3D.GH..............whatever you need, the ps3 has you covered. I'd also say that it is the best console given the thread title. You get the more in depth games like Uncharted, but then there's the more casual God of War 3. GT5/Modnation Racers/Motocross. etc etc etc. I can't think of one genre that the 360 has that the ps3 doesn't.

Looks like there are some missing genres from the PS3 section. Tumble? Lightgun type games? Wii ripoff games?

Ehhh. I actually prefer my 360 over the PS3, but the 360's actual game output has been weak for the past 3 years. Save for a few titles like Alan Wake, it's been on a complete rotation of Gears, Halo, and Forza.

Nope. The PC is silly. Best Selection of Hardcore games. Best Selection of Core games. Best Selection of Casual games. All in one machine.ShadowDeathX

I disagree. Some of the best game designers are exclusive to consoles.

I consider myself to be a casual gamer & I prefer playing games on Playstation 3. Motorstorm & LittleBigPlanet are awesome... 360 has nothing that even comes close.

I have all three consoles so I have opitions, but I say the 360 a little bit of causal because of the Kinect.
