I agree for the most part though sometimes I think GTA4 is up there as well but RDR is simply phenom for bringing a gorgeous looking and playing wild west to my gaming system. :D

Hah. No.

VC was the epitome of cultural satire combined with a well-written narrative

GTA4 had everything you mentioned yet did it better and to add, GTA4 (DLC included) had plot development, character depth and moral ambiguity and the list goes on.It smokes any GTA story, imo. ViceCity has to be the most overrated GTA to date. I have no idea why people cant let go of the 80s. What you had with ViceCity was terrbile gameplay with a Scarface/Carlitos Way story. Very cliche. Great music though.

Oh and as for Tommy, hes the most one dimensional, unconvincing protagonist in any polygonal GTA game.
