The controls didnt look very responsive in that video.web966Perhaps not, but would a dragon be that responsive? :o I imagine them to be slow and heavy.
I would say it can be likable. For me though no. The controls simply do not follow the pace of the game. The flying is similar to rogue squadron so you cant do any quick movements with the sixaxis. I suggest you rent it and see if you like how the game plays.bobabanI was hoping for a demo, but that seems unlikely considering it's out elsewhere. I haven't rented a game since the Mega Drive. :P
I don't own it as it's not out in the UK yet, but I'm still finding it hard to believe that the reviews are so harsh. Surely the controls can't be that bad. Anyway, I stumbled upon this video and it seems as though the controls aren't totally broken. Maybe people are expecting to play in a fast and frantic way when they shouldn't be. Or maybe I'm just trying to justify why I still want it so badly. >_>SolidSnake35
It's bad, but it's probably not as bad as your sig. Jeez what do you see in that girl, she looks like a 14 year old...:?

did you read any reviews?
they said in open areas the controlls are good, tight sections are not. which was what you had to do ;)
the video shows no tight sections....
The controls may work outside the levels but the lock-on and when you are in un-open levels, it makes things a lot harder or so I heard and the missions are quite tedious. Just read GS's review of Lair. If you're interested in the game, rent it and see if you like it or not. ;)

Its not often that GS gives a game less than a 6. With that said, a 4.5? Think about it....

Yeah, I remember, and I can imagine that it does get a bit frustrating. It still looks fun... but I don't want to buy another Genji. :cry:Please Log In to post.
