I own a Wii. And all my Wii owning friends want this game. Matter of fact, I have a friend who wants a Wii for a few games and said if this game plays as good as it looks, this would be the tipping point.

So there is a market for this game, just a matter of actually marketing it.

I doubt that NMH would have sold well on any console. Killer7 didnt sell any better on the PS2 than it did the GC.

Will it do well sales wise? Meh, who knows, but prolly not.

Is it worthy of hype anyways due to sheer quality. Hell yes.

It looks a lot like God Hand, Clover Studio's last game.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I wouldn't expect it to be universally lauded.

You don't understand bud. A game with violence does not automatically mean it will be a good game. The nintendo fanboys always say that quote because they are always attacked with nintendo=kiddy=suck argument which is also stupid. There are violent games that are crap after all.

Also, this game is being made by great devs so there are high expectations.

Clover Studios is one of those "out there" companies who has kind of a trend and also a tendency for going against the mold a bit. They do some good work and maybe aren't perfect, but they are one of those devs who keep trying yet are never met with both a critical success on sales and sometimes reviews. (God Hand was a mixed bag, their last game)

I'll say this, I'm keeping my eye on it. So far I've loved many of their games that I own. Okami and Viewtiful Joe were also some of my favorite games of last gen as well. I hope to see that magic still alive in Madworld too.

Gears of war and Killzone are dull brown and grey = bore

MadWorld is stylished black and white. Yes, it would look better with colour, but the artstyle is far more interesting than GeoW and KZ.

but there's some hope because RE4 sold well on it, so hopefully the people who bought that look at this as well

Has any gameplay videos been released yet? Because I can't really judge a game from a few pictures. We don't know what the point of the game is.

Oh, and if it's going from one end of the stage to the other, trying to survive by killing people, then this game is a failure.

At this point, the only people who are hyping this game are doing it soley because of the blood/gore/violence the game is going to have. Thats not only disgusting but pathetic.

No, we say that people who come on here saying 'ZOMG teh wii has no gamez 4 adults it sux' are kids trying to be adults. Blood and guns are excellent, when taken in the right quantaties.

Actually, alot of people are hyping it because it is being made by the guys who made Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and Godhand. It's a pretty big deal.
