I think that Bioshock contributed as well.
People thought that it was a guarenteed 9.5, when it got 9.0 people rethought their Metroid hype.
Well, Jeff reviews it. But I think he learned from TP :PWeslii
UGH jeffs reviews suck IMO.
TP8.8 I love he complained about the sheild bash turning into the spin attack after the first few times I used it I never had that issue he must have just sucked at it,
hecomplainedfor half of bioshocks review. I swear from reading it I would have thought he would have given the game and 8.0.
MM got an 8.3, he complains abot not being able to keep to the sorline when the whole point is to dig through an extremely well thought outworld with a huge amount of depth, especially for an N64 game.
Warioware 9.1 what the heck? especially when he gave touched a 7.2

Really Jeff, he just did Bioshock, I thought someone else would be handling it.
Usually the chief editor does the big named titles.
I was under the impression that Jeff hated Metroid games. He probably isnt reviewing it, he just did Bioshock, and Metroid Prime 3 should be a pretty long game as well. I think Brad will review it, just like Prime 2.

reviewers don't play system wars like we do. flop =/= bad game.
some do, like that sonydefense that gave bioshock a 5. then there are other like gameinformer that go the opposite. since it is gamestops magazine every game is a must have to increase sales. while it wasn't systems wars oxm reviewd fightnight and oblivion in the same issue and claimed fnr3 was better. the cover of the mag said "our first 10, see what game rated better than halo. there are many bad reviews. then there are times when the reviewer is the exception rather than the rule so their reviews are worthless. useing myself as an example i dont like gta, i would have given it a low score. i may be the only person on the planet that liked brute force.
reviews are openions, and actually tell you more about the reviewer than the game. for bioshock jeff held the score down for crashes that only he seemed to experience. did he get a new copy of the game or a new console? no. he showed he is lazy and his reviews are best ignored. he reviewed his experience, not the game.
It's hyped AAA. I still remember a year or so back before the Wii specs finally sank into the sheeps' head. When the first clip was shown, they were all like, "lawl it's just a modified MP2, MP3 will look better". :lol: Yeah, we all know how that turned out.
