I dont believe in exclusives unless its first party. MGS 4 can go to X360. MS published Mass Effect, but now there is a chance of it coming to PS3. same with PGR. just like Heavenly Sword, the devs are working on a PS3 and X360, they can decide to bring HS 2 to PS3 and X360.

Just because MS has the publishing rights doesn't mean Team Ninja can't choose a different publisher if they choose to bring it on the PS3. I'm almost positive EA is publishing the PC version of ME, while MS published the once exclusive game. white_sox

actually, Spyro the dragon, and Crash bandicoot, were both published by sony, yet they werent first party yet, and when the devs finally became first party, universal games(the people above them) had already had the rights to the trilogies back on the psone, and had new devs (vevindi games damn you!) mae the series multiplat, destroying 2 of the biggest franchises in the history of gaming. Now, we have the abomination that is the legend of spyro, and every incarnation of both characters on any console outside of the psone has flopped horribly. all made by differend devs than the origional.

so in short, team ninja, or the mainstream company that is likely above them can decide to make it multiplat if they want. RIP spyro and crash.....Gone, but not Forgotten!

Do you seriously think that MS would let Team Ninja go off and give away a valuable exclusive to the competition? I'm quite sure this is a tight contract/agreement in place that prevents anything like that happening.

THAT WILL ONLY HAPPEN IF SOME ONE BUYS TECMO. EA is publising Mass effect on pc due to buying Bioware making the contract between microsoft and Bioware void. The only way Ninja Gaiden 2 is going on any other system is if tecmo is bought by another company. Right now, Microsoft is the publisher and as long as Tecmo is its own company know other system is getting Ninja Gaiden 2.

its not microsofts choice. read my post above about spyro and crash for the psone. The same thing happened, both series were owned in a 3 game deal for the psone, but the people above insomniac & naughtydog who owned the IPs and the the 3-game contract agreement being with THEM and not the devs themselves, universal games said that the game was going multiplat the next gen. now both the devs objected to this, but guess what, universal was the one with the power, so they were screwed, and they had different devs make the new ones, which flopped. 2.1 on gs lol.

now, this IP is under a 2 game IP with MS, which is why gears of war 3 could possibly be on the playstation 3. and I dont think epic would really care much either, and would probably develop it themselves.

No NG2 it published by Microsoft. But maybe there will be a another Ninja Gaiden game for PS3 sometime in the future but I assume it would have to be comepletely different from Ninja Gaiden 2.

Being a big NG fan, I'd like to see both 360 and PS3 have their own exclusive Ninja Gaiden series. The more Ninja Gaiden the better. Though I dought that will happen though.
