Is ninja gaiden 2 coming to the ps3?

dude, its not MS choice! it wasnt sonys choice to let crash bandicoot and spyro go to other consoles! do you see that little orange daimond on most of sonys games? wasn't Itagaki opposed to putting Ninja Gaiden on the PS3 but Tecmo did it anyway, so I'm guessing Itagaki wont want to do it again and being published by Microsoft I doubt they will ever put it on the PS3

No they haven't. Though bought nothing about Mass Effect, it simply chose to go PC/X360 because of easier development.

The trilogy they did buy was Gears of War.

And given the state of the 360 in Japan, don't be suprised if NG2 fails to sell a million, like it's predeccesor and make the jump to another platform.

MS is publishing Ninja Gaiden 2. Unless they approve of it (which I know they won't) there is no way it will ever go to the PS3. There isn't even a chance of the first Mass Effect going to the PS3, just 2 and 3, because, as the publisher, MS owns the rights to publish that game. PGR will never appear on the PS3 since MS owns the PGR IP. In that same token, HS will never appear on the 360 unless Sony allows it to, but its sequel can because sony doesn't own the franchise.

actually he could be right technincally tecmo could come out with something like Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and add new elements and it would be considered a different game than the one MS published. Tecmo owns the rights to the NG series so it could happen unless MS has some other deal with tecmo that we don't know about.

No, they couldn't. Case in point, the Goldeneye conversion for the XBLA. MS added new features such as online play and smoother graphics and Nintendo refused to allow it to come out. Why? because they published the game and have the full rights to the content of the game. So, even with modifications, it could not be released without MS's approval. The only reason Ninja Gaiden Sigma was allowed to come out on the PS3 was because MS didn't publish it.

Those saying that mass effect might come to ps3 just because EA is publishing the PC version are wrong, MS owns the right for the console version mass effect trilogy will only come out on 1 console and thats x360.

Ninja Gaiden as a series sells poorly in Japan. In fact, the news media is referring to Dragon Sword as an evil game :D

The 360 arguably does the best in North America, and that's where Team Ninja gets all their sales; so, it would make sense for them to put it on the 360, especially when MS offered a contract. It's not coming out on the PS3 and I highly doubt it ever will; if worst comes to worst for 360 fans, Igataki will design another Ninja Gaiden for a Nintendo system, but a NG on the PS3 would only destroy the exclusiveness, making their contracts with Team N worth less. On the Wii or DS, MS would not have to worry about the title becoming inclusive; the systems are entirely different, hence becoming different games.

If anything were to occur, PS3 loses :D
