@TheEroica: Lol no. The wiiu literally has more worth than psvr"
Agreed. Everyone on this board talks about X1X having no games but somehow VR is a must buy? LOL I'm not paying 300 bucks to play skyrim and RE7 again. Maybe next gen.

If you enjoy demoing it, then owning it is a blast! Vr Gaming is really it's own kind of thing. Personally, having a Vr Gaming rig and a Psvr gives me the same thrill that visiting a friend who had a Neo Geo back when I was a kid did. Only, now I own one and when friends come over they have fun with it.
I've settled in from Maximum Overhyped Mode, but I got something so much better and much more real... Satisfaction.

Yup, owning VR is awesome.
Cool thing about PSVR that rarely gets mentioned is that you can hook it up to your PC and play Steam VR games with it. I've been doing it for a while now with an app called Trinus VR, and I use it to play games like Elite Dangerous and Project Cars in VR.
VR is the biggest jump I've experienced in gaming since the jump to 3D back in the PS1 era. Playing certain games like flight sims or driving sims in VR is so much better than playing on a flatscreen, it's ridiculous. It has even gotten to the point that I won't buy a driving or flying game anymore that doesn't have VR support. Games like Skyrim are just the beginning. Imagine what will happen when we get a GTA with native VR support. It will be insane.
@SolidGame_basic: I've played with oculas, and I can see the draw to the technology... Its impressive in doses, but God man, 350 bucks? For next to no compelling games? Coming by an Xbox one or ps4 will cost you nearly half that this holiday season.
Its not that I don't believe the tech COULD be a game changer, it's that their asking price doesn't match the follow through....
Truthfully it's no different than kinect, despite the quality of VR being more immerse and responsive. It's a little expensive.
When I say it, its all tears and butthurt memes. But you pretty much nailed it.
I don't hate VR, I've tried all of them too. I think it shines mainly in cockpit games. But PSVR is the OG X1 of VR and old games like Skyrim wont salvage it. The price is just insult to injury. Needs to be like $175 for it to sell.
@TheShadowLord07: yeah you can forget about that one, ufc 3 is coming next year. Then you can enjoy those takedowns and submissions again.
It's a damn shame we got no new boxing games, almost 7 years now and counting since the last decent boxing game. Ufc sucks, when they going to realize that wrestling and submissions don't translate well to a controller, and even if it did, I would still want a boxing game. Ufc can be fun to watch and I even was an avid judo practicioner in my younger days, but it don't like it in games, at all.
I'm not buying into VR until I'm untethered and it has many worthwhile games.
I use a retractable keychain attached to a lamp on the ceiling. it works quite good. I think the vive can be used wirelessly as well.
@commander: Nice.
I don't have the money to put into upgrading my PC, buy vive or desire to. I haven't seen any game that makes me want it.
