I played Team Fortress 2 for a long time on the X360 before I got it for PC and loved it so I think it's worth it.
No. If you've ever seen me post you know I'm almost exclusively a console gamer, but if you're gonna play Team Fortress 2 you HAVE to play on PC for the true experience. It gets active updates, new items, additional game modes, etc., and it runs infinitely more smoothly.
I only have the PC version instead of consoles, but I cannot possibly imagine how the console versions could play the same way as on the PC.

I say play the Xbox version, it's still a fun game.

No Valve game is worth it on consoles.

This, with the exception of the L4D games, which are decent enough on their own right (while still paling in comparision to the PC versions).
What about Portal? Or the Half Life 2 series. Both run smoothly, and despite the lack of mods - offer a great gameplay experience.yes its worth it.i play it all the time on 360. i know a lot of people who dont like TF2 coz they simply dont understand what to do or whats happening but once you find out, you'll see how simple and awesomeit is. i like 360 version more then pc one though it is kinda broken. lazy valve could have easily fixedit on consoleand made it much better, we dont want all the pc updates and weapons, all we wantedwas bug fixes etc. instead the last updatevalve released for it made the game even worse by introducing class limits which allows the host to limit or completely block whatever class they want...which led to many spy haters blocking spy or any other class they get owned by. funny thing is nobody even asked for this type of stupid "update"

You should go ask Microsoft what they problem with FREE DLC was. IF you remember the whole drama valve had with trying to give the same content as PC users to the 360 and being shot down by microsoft then you would understand.

Why do you prefer the 360 version ?
Well, at lest there's no Chargin Targe, Cloak and Dagger, Huntsman, etc. :lol:Of course, the good unlocks more than make up for it, as well as the new maps, game modes etc.

like i said i dont care about DLC. just wanted valve to fix the bugs and glitches and im sure microsoft didnt stop valve from releasing a tiny update
What 'we' wanted? Last time I checked people took the free DLC since 2007 in droves, and it's a huge reason that the game still has such an active player base, fan community, and still sells. Oh wait you know best right?yes its worth it.i play it all the time on 360. i know a lot of people who dont like TF2 coz they simply dont understand what to do or whats happening but once you find out, you'll see how simple and awesomeit is. i like 360 version more then pc one though it is kinda broken. lazy valve could have easily fixedit on consoleand made it much better, we dont want all the pc updates and weapons, all we wantedwas bug fixes etc. instead the last updatevalve released for it made the game even worse by introducing class limits which allows the host to limit or completely block whatever class they want...which led to many spy haters blocking spy or any other class they get owned by. funny thing is nobody even asked for this type of stupid "update"

Since your PC can't run it I say yes. It's still a great game. The PC version is 1000 times better but TF2 on the console is still great.(Hell it's better than most stuff on the consoles.) There still a community so it shouldn't be hard to find any games. Finding matches can be a pain though. Also no one play rank games. It's all about player matches.
Though I haven't played it on the PC. I'm just assuming. Also don't expect any updates.

.. Wait so you don't care about extra content that adds new and amazing things from maps to items for each class that can radically change how its played?
So he should miss out in the game just because it's not as good as it counterparts? TF2 on the consoles is still great.[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]No.. Compared to the pc version its like a bad joke.timmy00
... Great is a matter of comparison, and what I am trying to tell him is its awful compared to the pc version.. And if you have played the two there would be little point in changing the two.. But if he really wants to play it and there are no other multiplayers he is looking at.. Then there really isn't much of a choice.

no game is worth playing on an inferior system.
Raymundo_Manuel
This sounds right.
Whilst I understand your point, I have to disagree. If that 'inferior' system is mainly down to graphics etc. then why not? A great game is still a great game. I HAD a PC capable of HL2 at max, but it's broke now so I'm tempted to get the 360 version. I'll still get the same game (I've played both PC and 360 versions before), just on a different platfom.Yeah, this. Portal and Half Life 2 are both perfectly fine on consoles, I wouldn't play them on consoles, doesn't feel right for me.[QUOTE="DarthBilf"][QUOTE="Ravensmash"] What about Portal? Agreed. They didn't translate to dual analog well.
