Is the 360 losing steam...?

Sony is coming with a lot of news, even before E3, we haven't heard a lot from Microsoft. Do you think they are losing steam in the System Wars? And do you think they have anything big in store for E3?

I'm just gonna wait till E3.This whole 360 is going down stuff is getting boring.Doesn't mean we know nothing,that there actually isn't anything.

No. The PS3 is just catching up.

As 360 owners, what do you expect or want from Microsoft @ E3? You know they are going to hype Xbox Live, Halo ODST. That's surely not enough right.

I expect to see some Forza 3, Mass Effect 2 and maybe some Splinter Cell Conviction info.

Seriously though, me thinks the calm before the storm so to speak- E3 should answer the question at hand.

Alan Wake footage alone would be a good E3 show for MS.

I agree, I don't think the xbox 360 has lost any steam. I'm actually glad to have a couple of slow months, I have a lot of catching up to do on old games.

Steam is on PC's silly..... XBOX uses Live! :roll:

Maan we still have more games than Sony and a better online and do I have to mention the wii...........

Lems still think s they are in last generation and Xbox live is the best online service I own both 360 and ps3 and dont see anything in live better than PSN , PSN less laggy , (((FREE!))) and looks better the only good thing in Xbox live is voice chat and I hate voice chat.

I thought PC was the only platform that had Steam? :)

Sony releases game footage of some games years before they are even built by showing CGI. They generally release game info well before the game is near to come out.

MS keep alot of their game information and footage under raps. Then start showing the game just before release.

It funny how Sony can use the same game for years tomake there lineup look better.Sony fanboy went on and on how GT will be a better racing than Forza 2 when really it will be more accurate to compare it to Forza 3 by the time it comes out.

If you look at what information there is on game the lineup for exclusives and 360/PC games looks good to me. I am hoping for a couple of more big annoucements but i always want something better.

no they are nto losing steam. the one thing that i respectmicrosoft for is for not announcing games years before they come out. its good thy do that since hype has less chance of ruining a game for example killzone2 yes its a good game but the hype around it left me underwhelmed.

microsoft seem to announce games within the same year which cuts down the build up of overhyping

this e3 im expecting to hear about forza 3,killer instinct and maybe mgs4e

i support the PS3, but all this 360 is losing steam is pretty stupid. just in case you did not know, these are confirmed 360 exclusives for 2009. Lost Planet 2 Alan Wake Splinter Cell Conviction Halo: ODST we all know a Rare game would be released Forza 3 is likely to be released as well That list alone is enough to satisfy a gamer. together with lots and lots of multiplats, Tekken 6, Bayonetta, BioShock 2, CoD: MW2, Bionic Commando, Prototype, Batman, etcxxThyLordxx

Yeah, that should end the theard right there. I was pretty surrprised seeingit too. Although it should be noted that Alan Wake is not a 360 exclusive it is also on the PC.

BTW PS3 owners, Sony has an excellent mic for voice chat, more of you guys should take advantage of it. Playing coop games suck when you are playing with a mute. It's one of the reasons a coop multiplat game seems to play better on XBL. Sometimes talking to people makes a game better.

lets see Splinter Cell, Alan Wait, Forza III, Halo 3 XPAC, and then E3 will announce 3-4 games too, and then lets not forget that the 360 is still outselling the PS3 worldwide with its less then stellar lineup atm compared to the PS3. So its safe to say that the 360 isnt losing any steam, but the PS3 with is YOY decline in sales might be......

The 360 is slowly but surely running out of steam. Sony's first-party team can release a steady stream of games while the 360 is all over the place. I'm sure Microsoft will get something but ehh....

Honestly, I don't care if the X360 annouces a huge exclusive or not.

Other than God of War3 (which I don't think is coming out this year), all my game purchases in 2009 will be multiplats:

• RE5
• SF4
• CoD MW2
• EA Sports games (Madden, NCAA football, Tiger Woods)

I never play FPS games to worry about team working I just use online to play fighting games , racing games and some RPGs like WKC and Demon's souls, for example in SFIV I always mute guys who are using mics.

When will people learn? You don't win poker matches by showing your hand early in the game. The smart players keep their hand close to their chest and wait till the right moment to reveal that Full House ;)

eh....not really. Most of the games you listed will be rentals (if I play them at all) for me. Oh and I should've added Dead Rising2 to my list. I loved the first DR.

inFAMOUS looks cool though. I expect R&C and Uncharted2 to be rentals like their predecessors were. And I have no interest in JRPGs.

I expect 2009 to be another year where I play my X360 the most and my PS3 continues to be a blu-ray player with the occasional exclusive.
