when they first unveiled it I thought ellie was joel's daughter but now its revealed its just some girl he saved along the way. I don't think its gonna be a full-on love story between them but does anyone think its going to be an implied romance?

 

its the damn apocalypse. like 90% of humans have been wiped out. ellie is probably the only chick he's seen in months (and she's around him all the time). the rule of law is out the window at that point. you think joel isn't gonna want to tap that? it would be unrealistic in that senario if naughty dog didn't go there with the story. have joel struggle with it like leon the professional. that would be brilliant storytelling imo

Also why is everyone getting so shocked? like TC said: it's the apocalypse, the girl is hot, she isn't a child, she has already developed her physical features.

Law doesn't exists anymore, and even if it would, it's completely normal to feel attraction towards a teenager who isn't above 18.

I edited my post after i reread the OP and he does have a valid point (regardless of how horrible the thought is). But this is a game so i doubt they'll delve into that much deprivation.
