i mean now i never see any one with a ds but plenty with psps in ,fact all my friend have psps and only one of thought with a DS

It was over a long time ago DS had one with a cast of way better gamesbobcheeseball

wth? anyway. People HAVE DS's. its just people like you that make it "uncool" to "show" other people them. I play Pokemon on the computers in school and everyones like.. omfg thats awesome.. how did you do that.. i want that.. but if i brougth my DS, it'd be.. wow you have a GAY-S! but whatever. I play my DS all the time an dlove it. PSP is cool, but i honestly don't need it. i have an MP3 (much better than carrying a 2lb brick). I also have superior(in my mind) games. So really... to me the DS is better.

Its strange.. DS kills PSP worldwide... however in the US its close... i'm not even joking it is... but yeah.. i still think that DS is king of this gen. Next gen.. i somewhat doubt it wil hold on as well. Adults that bought DS aren't the kind of people that Upgrade thigns. They are hte people that still have a toaster from 1970. If it toasts bread, its good. If its plays brain age, its good.

So yeah. If they do a DS2 it will not do as good. If its a GB3, then i'll be happy, and if they do both, well they win for sure.

They're really wasn't a portable war... The PSP is much more a multi media device than a gaming system.

I would say now with the slims release, it's about evened out. But the DS won along time ago, and is still better if you want to game.

For the record, I see more DS' in public than the PSP, and plus the DS has already completely obliterated the PSP. The DS has sold well over 50 million units worldwide, compared to the PSP's 25 million. With DQIX, NG :DS, FFXII:RW, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, Mario Party DS, the DQ remakes, the FFIV remake, Contra IV and FFCC: The Ring of Fates ALL on their way still I don't forsee the PSP gaining any kind of momentum on the DS. Not to mention that the DS is bound to get a price drop in the near future.

Meanwhile, what does the PSP have? FFVII:CC and GoW: CoO? How's that supposed to last PSP owners for the next couple of years?

As some 3rd party releases "Happy Fun Kitty Mini Games" and beats all the GoW sales for PSP in total in one week with the one overly casual game.

Which is no surprise really. And both are selling well.

War? What war? I don't think Nintendo has ever so much as acknowledged any handheld competitors. They've completely dominated the handheld market since the original Gameboy and current sales indicate that's not going to change anytime soon.

doesn't matter because few sell well. ppl aren't interested in them like they are with DS games. also how many ps2 ports and sports games can you buy?

The DS was never threatened by the PSP in the first place. This is not to say the PSP is a bad console but there was never a chance of it outselling the DS.

DS has more 3 more AAAs on Game Rankings.

AAAs are way more important. besides that most pf PSP respectable game consist of sports and Ps2 ports.

And no, the majority are not ports, and even so the ports are damn good ones. PSP did what no one else could do and take a substantial part of the market share from nintendo in comparison to everyone else who tried, if anything, Sony did the most damage during the portable fiasco.

No DS did the most damage because the PSP has lost Sony money and has not sold well. Also Nintendo has consolidated the future handhelds with complete ownage.

I wouldn't say the DS absolutely has better games because everybody has their opinions. I love the DS (I even have it as my sig), but honestly, there are some games on PSP that I would love to play. FF7: Crisis Core, God of War, Tekken, Ridge Racer (or should I say, Riiiidge Raaacer!!!), etc
