4.92 is alot in launch year? Its the middle of october, and the ps3 is selling like crap still. This close to christmas, that is not impressive at all.

True there have been some setbacks such as Lair which disappointed everyone.

However Warhawk was impressive.....and now we have Ratchet and Clank as well as Uncharted this holiday season. 2 AAA games that will surely push sales along with the cheaper 40 gig SKU.

I kindda posted the link for all to see....

and its right MS has never really made a profit from hardware sales, which FYI is the main source of income for the system. yes MS can make alittle from a game but for the most part the money goes to the developer unless MS is the developer for that game. If MS see that they still can t make a profit form their second system, then I dont see why they woundn't say f'it and drop the gaming division.

Before you go fanboy on me think for a sec...yes the PS3 is selling last but the gaming division is still making for it a bit with PS2 and PSP sales, Oh and before you go qouting that link agian, please find an updated quota because that from when the 20 gig was just droped how about a more resent one please

point is, the 360 is6 million in the lead which means the ps3 is gonna have to start selling twice as much as the 360 on a monthly basis some time soon before the gap becomes too wide if sony wants to catch up.

cows seem to think that once three certain games (GT5, MGS, FF)come out its all gonna be fine and dandy :roll:

the ps3 is currently selling at a slower rate than the gamecube, if it keepes up like that, cows can expect third parties to drop like flies and 10 month game droughtsover the next few years.

no it isn't the 360 all together outsold the ps3 by 1.5%. if you think about it this was a bad year for the the ps3 high price and lack of games but its still able to hold its ground with the 360. i have a link above this post.

and isn't MS' PR also full of crap, for giving you a 3 year extended warranty, but not admiting the failure rate numbers?

You can't say anything about console sales until you approach the end of this generation of gaming.Currentsales mean next to nothing for me.Sony has already said that the PS3 was made to last for the next decade (10 years) of gaming. Of course, you can't believe anything anyone says, whether its Sony or Microsoft, but you can at least assume that they aren't speaking out of their asses. With such long-tem goals for the PS3, you have to assume that immediate achievements in quality and excellence in tems of games will be few and far between. What I'm trying to say is that we have to give developers a fair chance to familiarize themselves with the hardware and allow them to make two or three games on the system before we determine whether or not the system is a failure. If in the second and third years of the PS3, there is still a lack of a good and varied game library, and the console doesn't sell well as a result, then I will be willing to call the PS3 a failure.

Yes, the fact that MS admitted some 360's had problems and provided an unprecedented warrenty shows they are full of crap :roll: They should have just followed Sony's lead and waited until they lost a lawsuit before they did anything about it...
