[QUOTE="charizard1605"]Lol, that's what i meant, I just remembered buying it in 2010 :P[QUOTE="SolidTy"]
Well, it hasn't been out for two years, but it's been like over a year and a half (June-July 2010 I believe when it first came out), but I am glad to hear that nonetheless. :P I think depending on when you bought it, it will be two years old in June or July (NA got it early in June, but NA/AU got it in July).
It's good to know about your good fortune thus far. That falls in line with what I was hoping for, and what I have heard from some friends that jumped in early. I was waiting and hoping my older units wouldn't fail, and I could avoid a rebuy, but no such luck. I managed to save some money on the wait though. :P
As far as having them in a box, I learned last gen with my Xboxs and PS2's not to enclose them, play on shag carpeting, etc. Totally feel you there. :P I went through a few PS2 and a few Xbox's. My later PS2 slims and Halo Xbox's have been good though.:P

And you'll like the Slim, it feels like a much more well built and solidly constructed piece of hardware overall.
And yeah, that was stupid of me, but being college demands compromises. I had little space, and I tried doing the best I could :P
The only hardware that hasn't given me any trouble so far is Nintendo hardware. Like my Gamecube fell about five feet when we were playing Super Smash because someone yanked the cord too hard, and with the disc still spinning, and... it continued running as it had been. We were all so surprised and so relieved :P
The build quality of the 3DS though leaves something to be desired :?
wasn't it you who posted the pictures of your's red dotting from overheating with the error message and everybody flamed you saying it was fake? i remember that,lol dropped my GC as well, about 3 foot, took a big chunk of plastic out of it just above the ATI sticker but it still worked like a charm after that,lolDelta, no that was Kuu.
It was strange, first Kuu posted the problem. Then non-Gamespot.com websites caught on to those SW pics, then those Kuu SW pics from SW actually circulated across the 'net. What was funny, is that after a while a user posted news of Kuu's very own pics in SW as NEW NEWS from another site.
So, I got to see the news of Kuu's 360 S the first time, and then I got to see how all these outlets reported on Kuu's 360 S in a new SW thread, but those sites didn't report SW as the source, lol. It was hilarious seeing that go down.
In fact, here's the link to that thread, lol.

I'm the 12th post down the page 3 (20 posts per page), quoting ProjectNatalfan who is accusing Kuu of breaking his 360 S on purpose. If you know Kuu, you know he's a legit Xbox hardcore gamer. It's actually one of SW more FUN threads, lol.
