it's a secondary console IMO, with the 360 being my primary
still, i couldn't do without my wii .. i need if for the great nintendo games, even though they're few and far between like you said, and for the occasional good third party game like Okami

I'm sorry, I could never have a Nintendo console as my only console.
I'm too into HD, great surround sound to have Nintendo only. Too into REAL games.
While I like to play mario games because of the nostalgia factor, they don't speak to me directly. I'd much rather have games like Socom, Warhawk, Buioshock, Gears, GTA, etc. Nothing like that on Wii to match the performance of the 360 or PS3.
Just my opinion.
Unfortunately, for Wii-haters, the idea of a "secondary console" is nothing but damage control in light of the Wii's market domination. When console manufacturers are counting up their numbers, they don't sort them by "primary" and "secondary". Furthermore, the Wii has 21 million-selling titles, including 8 third-party million selling titles. That's more than can be said for the PS3 - and it would be interesting to see how that compares to the 360's first year million sellers.Erkidu
I love the wii but I still think it's a secondary console. I guess it depends on how fast you complete its games.
[QUOTE="StringGuard"][QUOTE="ng1234"]primary console. 360 and PS3 are secondary imo.ng1234
Let me guess. No HDTV in the house?
You don't necesarily need one for good looking visuals. SMG looks good enough for me.
Point, set, match.
The wii has a lack of steady games. I go for months without nothing to play for with my wii. I don't like puzzle games so zack and wiki is out. No More Hero's is just plain awful. Too many droughts to be a main.Kidtendo
ppl could say the same about any console and just say the good games aren't their type.
This primary and seconary crap seriously don't exist. You buy a console because you want to play it, not to be some kind of idling machine for backup purposes.ArisShadows
You make a good point. Also if someone had a primary system it would change the second they got a new game for the other system. I don't know about others but when I get a new game I play many other games at the same time unless it on a handheld.
