Is the Wii even seen as a serious competitor in terms of game quality anymore?

I didn't say you were a fanboy of any particular system. I was just saying, when you say that, you're acting like one. No one ever said the Wii has had a great year this year. If I remember correctly PS3's were selling more in Japan than Wii's as of last week. Wii is dying... ending as a better term, with its final bang, which is Skyward Sword.
But the overall library of games does compete with the HD twins.

Nintendo's first Party are always comepeting with everyone else and always doing fantastic (except Wii themed games like Wii Music, I choose to ignore those and pretend Nintendo didn't make that. We all know when I say first party, I'm talking about Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.)

The Wii haves some really cool exclusives and it's definetely a cool consoles. It may be lacking on the visuals and online components but there are some true masterpieces in the system.

@bbkkrisian If we were in the late 90's you would've though i was a blind nintendo fanboy who defended almost everything on N64. That because the system was great. Unique games, quality games and mature games and not 20 marios per year with 1 million mini games. I don't like what i see since the Wii launched, what do you want me to say? I know. I was listing all the games I felt had prime quality desing in them across all platforms I have played. 4/5 of them are Wii only

RPGs: The 3 head hitters 2 aren't out yet but are hyped: Pandora's Tower, Xenoblade, and The Last Story. I'll admit that Wii is lacking RPGs, I've played a few, but none really worth mentioning. RPG's are golden on handhelds this day of age.

Looking at the numbers, I would have to say no, but it's still a very good console. SMG is one of my favourite games of all time, but the same can be said for some games on the PS3 and 360.

The Wii's time has past, so there's not much to really compare/compete with anymore. Its library is basically over and done with. Even Xenoblade was just a localization of a game already released last year in Japan.

The only 100% new games coming out on the horizon that are hyped at all are Zelda and Kirby.

My hopes and dreams for Wii U. I'd like a Nintendo console that atleast offers the multiplats others get, is that really too much to ask? Then I could just own one system for one gen. Screw fanboy wars, it'd be the greatest consoles ever IMO.

I won't consider the Wii a serious competitior until they release a Glee Karaoke Volume 3. :x

It lacks in current releases but overall has a good amount of quality games, so yes. My current generation library by volume is like this: DS>PS3=Wii>360.

But the market has really changed since then. Multiplats didn't come to be the best games until just recently. Look forward to it happening. Maybe Wii U will do it, I mean it launches 2012 and that's when the world is supposed to end.:lol:
