Yes.

Two reasons,

1st you have a 360 so you can get your fill of "serious" games.

2nd dicount games. The good games on the Wii drop in price really fast. For example I got Sam & Max Season 1 yesterday for $20 new. There are a good deal of great Wii games for under $20 new...

Oh we are paying for performance? My mistake, that explains why I thought the Wii is a great value, I thought I was paying for the ability to play Wii games, not for theoretical clock speeds.

Ive got all three consoles man.

The 360 ive had for 3 years, (2 360's actually, 1 RRoD'd). I absolutely love it.
I just got a PS3, it seems pretty amazing so far.
I bought a Wii when super smash bro's came out for it. Worst console ive ever owned by far. The only decent game I played on it was SMG. It absolutely blows.

For some reason i'm having a hard time trying to figure out if you hate those games (which happen to not have any violence) based on your avatar and name... They all are great and high scoring games.

noIf you have a 360, I would still say do not buy a wii. Either spend the money on 360 games, save it, buy somethign else not video game related or if you really want some ps3 exclusives, get a ps3.

I love fanboys. I know that game tastes are personal and not all games are for everyone, but honestly the Wii has plenty of great 3rd party games available. TC, TC2, RRR1, 2, 3, We Ski, Z&W, Sam & Max, DQ Swords, Tales, Sonic SotR, RE:UC, Medal of Honor 2, Elebits, Nights, NMH, Okami, de Blob, Boom Blox, etc...

If there are a few of these Wii games that are of interest to you, the Wii will probably be a decent addition to your gaming library. As for the claim that you can't go back and forth between the Wii and the HD graphics of the 360, that's complete bull. I do it on a regular basis and couldn't care less.

World at War is garbage. SMG, MP3 sound great, I think I'd really enjoy them. Super Smash Bros is hella fun and perhaps NMH is worth a purchase. Regardless you cannot deny that the Wii is the KING of shovelware. It's like the platform is a friggin' garbage dump. Every system has good games, including the Gamecube. That doesn't really impress me. Especially considering that over half the titles you mentioned happen to be first-party, meaning the same junk that is going to come out on a Nintendo platform regardless.

Poor judgement. Atleast do some reaserch before you judge. The Sims 3 which isn't violent, is my most anticpated game on 2009.

I'm staying over at a friends on Saturday night, maybe some other friends will come over too for a drink and some game playing, now we are all 30somethings some of us married with kids.

I have a 360 and a Wii.

Which console is coming with me do you think?
