Is there a reason to be an Xbox fan?

I have all 3 systems, and I grew up with Nintendo, Sony, and Sega. Both Sony and Nintendo have rich histories in gaming. Sony has talented devs and always come up with groundbreaking titles. I never hesitate to buy a Playstation console each gen cause I know I'll get quality titles. Nintendo has the characters we grew up with, however, Nintendo isn't what they used to be back in the SNES era. Nintendo seems to be afraid to push other franchises besides Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. However, they still have their own charm and I can see why they have fans. What has Xbox given us to remember besides Halo and Gears? I mean most of its good games are on PC. Halo is the only good game on 360 this year. Why isn't MS trying to create new and talented studios? It seems they only rely on Halo and Multiplats. Microsoft has like no characters to remember besides Master Chief:? When do you guys think MS will try to create their own legacy instead of being the multiplat playing me-too console that just happens to play Halo?

I say be thankful the games are on pc. It's not like ms doesn't have the pocketbook to prevent that.

The Xbox 360 has more hidden gems than any other gaming library.

Besides, it's harder to come up with new franchises that will stick out like Nintendo's Mario, or Sony's Metal Gear, nowadays.

Nintendo and Sony have been around a lot longer than Microsoft in the gaming industry, which gave them a good amount of time to settle in and build loyalty, along with fresh, unique franchises. The Xbox came around when games were becoming B movie experiences instead of being innovative and ground breaking.

Games? Seriously, they have 2 of my favorite games this gen; Dead Rising (1) and Crackdown.

I guess if it's published by them. Either way it's still a be thankful they do that kind of thing since they could keep them just on 360 to try and sell more hardware.

If you think about how long Nintendo has been in the business, and then look at how long MS has been in the business, you can clearly see that MS has come a very long way in very short amount of time with the Xbox franchise. Look how well established their games are like Halo, Forza, Gears of War, etc. Trying to paint that kind of picture of MS is really...........well.....................halarious.

I can guarantee you that there are many games that you love but a lot of people hate, and it's something that everybody just has to live with.

What appauls me with MS is they charge for everything, they release extremely faulty hardware, and they're extremely arrogant all the while.

I really try to figure out why so many people find the 360 appealing. Maybe its just me,but the games on the system are not even remotely interesting to me. But to each their own I guess.

You should base your purchases on the products, not on who you adore.

I guess these new Microsoft fans don't realize better FPS games came out years before Halo. I mean wow, first we had to deal with this for many years:

I do love my PS3 but console failure is why I wound up buying a PS3 after a 360.
