I'm not sure if $100 price drop for the xbox360 is going to switch things back around to the good old days before the ps3 price drop and E3 2007. Anyway its looking like Dreamcast 2 by 2008 or 2009 then xbox720 by 2010 if MS doesn't come up with something to respond to sony. MS was good at kicking sony while they were down but now that the tables are turned MS isn't doing too well and I don't see them standing their ground against sony. It doesn't seem like MS is going to gain the advantage again that they had during the first few months of the ps3. If I didn't own a console I still wouldn't buy an xbo360 for $300 but I might buy it at $200.

Now that I think about it if MS would of kept the core system and lowered the price on it by $100 they might have a pretty legit shot. If MS doesn't charge for online gaming and lowers the system price by $100 it seems like they still might have a chance at turning things around but something tells me that free online will be something that will never exist for xbox360 owners.

Look, ever sense peter moore has left I have seen nothing but these threads popping up everywhere. I do not think because MS is having a tough time right now with the hardware problem, and some internal things going on, all of a sudden they are going to fall out of the console business completely. The bottom line is they have dropped tons of money into this business with both consoles, and there is no way that they are going to leave without atleast trying to make some kind of money and or break even. That would make no sense considering the system has not been out for two years yet. To be quite honest with you it is still to early in this generation to assume that anyone of these systems that are currently out that any of them are going to fall hard.

Wow who would have thought a Level 1 with 3 posts is insainely more logical than a level 22 with 2500+?? I guess when you follow blind fanboy logic anything is possible. BTW I completely agree with you pave.

Oh, and BTW has anyone also noticed the MS has something called Xbox Live that charges $50 a pop, and there is approximately about 3 to 4 million users. Then on top of that look at all the content that gets downloaded, and is charged for. Think about it.

Once the falcon comes out, most likely the overheating problem will be gone, with it the red ring of death problem. Once that's gone, 360 will easily be back in the front.
