I haven't yet bought a 360 or PS3 beause I still play my PS2 practically every day. How can you say the PS2 "stink arse"? Clearly you aren't anything even close to being a real gamer. If you WERE a real gamer you would realize that as good as the 360 library is, it pales in comparison to the hundreds of excellent and original games the PS2 has in its library.

ALL sony has is rehashes, remakes and sequels to make money for there console!!!

How many GranTourismo's, resident evils, jak&dexters, ratchet&clanks, tekkens and final fantasys there is going to be?

The PS2 had it's days in the limelight. Many people have already made the jump to the next-gen and purchased a XBox 360. Come this holiday season I can pretty much guarantee that another 1.5 million people will do the same thing. :lol: The PS2 games look like crap on my HDTV, that's for sure. I really need to play those games on a 17" or 19" none HDTV to see the game like it was suppose to be. Many developers have moved on to the next-gen though. The PS2 should be around for at least another year or two before it's abandoned I think.

Graphically, it's leagues better then the PS2. The PS2 has more quality games only because it's been out for 7 years. If you took the first 2 years of the PS2, I'd say the XBox 360 would match up pretty well in terms of quanity and qaulity of games compared to the PS2. The real main difference is that their were about 25-30% more developers making games when the PS2 was out, then there are now. Many of the developers who made PS2 games don't even exist or have been assimulated into another company.

You mean the 2.3 million in 24 hours? :lol: I don't even think WoW sold that many in 24hrs and GT & FFXI didn't either. They'll have another shot at it next year though. Hopefully the PS3 can break the million mark this holiday. They didn't so it last year in the U.S. With a $400 price tag, there's no reason why they shouldn't.

why are you talking about graphics? You mean a last gen system has worse graphics than a current gen system? NO WAY! Its too bad that graphics don't make games good all by themselves. Good graphics age, good gameplay doesn't. The 360 has had a decent 12-16 months, its nothing special, especially when you look just at the exclusives. NEWS FLASH: 360 isn't going to last 7 years, and its not going to sell close to 120 million consoles. Please stop this nonsense, this is madness.

It is a matter of opinion...I like my PS2 and the library of games is huge and still growing. I have friends who love their 360s and wouldn't trade. As long as we play on HDTVs and think we have good systems what difference does it make?

All the consoles have their advantages and disadvantages. Ideally i would like to have one of each so I could enjoy all the great games that are available out there. I want to play both Heavenly Sword, Portal and many others but can't do that on one console:?
