Is There Any Reason For Wii To Have Sold More Units Than 360 Or PS3?

Actually, it's started out at the price of two hundred bucks. The price gap between the Gamecube and the Ps2 and X-box was smaller compared to the price gaps between the Wii and the Ps3 and 360. The gamecube wasnt one hundred bucks till later in it's life.

No. In the US, the Wii is only $30 cheaper than the 360 ($250 vs. $280). And there are rumours the 360 will drop to $250 as early as tomorrow. So there will be NO excuse.

In some countries (like England), the 360 is already cheaper than the Wii, and has been for a long time. Yet the Wii still kills it every week in sales.

I was just thinking about this, and other than the fact it is kiddie friendly, there is nothing to warrant its title at the top of the generation...

Except it appeals to the the largest demographic and more demographics then the PS3/360.

Its like selling a product to 100 people while the other two guys are trying to sell to 10 people. Who do you think is going to sell more? There is more then just the traditional gamer who buys the Wii.
