Xbone is hanging in there, flopping along. Like someone here on System Wars once said: Xbone is the flop that keeps on giving.
Still cracks me up.
XD The flop that keeps on flopping. :-P

Sony is very much living in the NOW and using it to support all their businesses. However they are not from what we have seen or heard investing in the future. For example just in the last week MS invested $5 Billion in IoT's. Is that solely for gaming? No. But will it help? You Bet!
Crap on the current Cloud all you want for now. Sony and Nintendo are going to wish they had invested more in the future, as MS has been and is not going to leave a multi-hundred billion dollar business that is gaming.
Judging by how often cows make threads bashing the console you say is washed out? Yeah, psychologically it still eats their weaboo minds that Xbox exists.
MS already gave up this generation.
That's why they didn't announce any new games last year and delayed everything they did have for 2017 to this year. MS been using with Smoke and Mirrors as games since 2015.
Crackdown still don't have a release date lol.
MS are working on new games, but all of them are going for the next generation and likely won't be compatible with OG Xbox one and S despite what MS has said about play anywhere because they know Sony will have PS5 exclusives and games developed from base XB1 hardware wouldn't compare.
People need to understand every NEW AAA non-inde level game MS shows at E3 this year will 97% not be playable on OG XB1 and will not release until the official start of next generation.
Sony is now console hegemonic.
Sony developers are "warring" between themselves.
From Naughty Dog, to Guerrilla, to Sony Bend, to Quantic Dream, to Santa Monica and now even Insomniac...The biggest competition for Sony are from within their own internal studios and exclusive developers.
MS hasn't been any competition for Sony since TLOU dropped last generation.
Nah, it's been Xbox Won this entire gen, nothing will change now. Maybe the PS Jive will have a shot next gen. Keep your chin up. :P

At the beginning of the generation MS supposedly invested 2 Billion into the xbox games division and lemmings were bragging about how the Xbox one was going to drown PS4 in AAA games...
How did that work out for you?

You're very misinformed. Sony is more prepared for the future than anyone else. Microsoft just got their hardware together a few months ago, and are just now starting to look towards games.
Sony already has their 1st party on full throttle, Mark Cerny is undergoing preparations for the PS5, and the new CEO of SIE is someone with a background on networking and services. The largest userbase in the world will be fully ready to move on to the PS5 when next gen starts.
Sony had already started investing in the cloud at the start of the gen when they partnered with Rackspace and NASA, they just don't shout it from the rooftops like Microsoft since they're not as desperate. Microsoft has been very loud this gen while Sony's been silent but deadly, playing Microsoft like a fiddle this whole time.
I think the only debates left though are 'who has the better sales' now
If you want to ignore all these great games coming to one of the platforms, sure.
'great games'
lol...autoplay games?
Are you arguing that E.T. on the Atari 2600 is an example of good game design or am I missing something?
the opposite, I am saying console games such balz
Rather play them than another RTS or a 2D indie game lols.

most indie gamers are not playing 2D indies, most of them are playing AA titles.
like this one for example: I have more from many different games if you need
Darrell Gallagher joining ms from Cristal dynamics is very interesting. Oversaw the revamp of the tomb raider series so has great experience which ms need to start competing.

That game is just one sample: The Forest.
There are several more that easily are not '2D indies' but 'AA indies'

PS4 is getting a port, maybe I'll check it out if it's good.

I cant imagine a home without a PC in it, that is the most important thing after a refrigerator.
and I dont know how well those port from PC games really work using just a controller
Not after the beating that Sony gave Microsoft this generation... its unfortunate that the XBox One did so bad because I think that competition is good, but Sony keeps cranking out hits and MS keeps cranking out duds. The entire trend of this generation is that Sony releases something that is awesome, then MS says they will release something awesome, but it turns out to be a flop. Their game developers and marketing team need to all be fired.

Oh I do have a PC, I'm using it right now with a cordless KB and a M, but if you play something on it it overheats and shuts down, so it's just for web surfing.
@AzatiS: Did the Wii win the war though? Its casual fan base abandoned them by the end of the generation and it really hurt them with the Wii U. I guess you could say that victory caused them to get trounced in the next war.
YEah it did, and ? What you trying to say i dont get it.
@AzatiS: The success of the Wii set them up for failure with the Wii U. Thats what im saying.
I mean Nintendo has had the most success with portables such as the Nintendo 3DS, the Nintendo DS and the Gameboy, but it is important to note that portables are literally a fraction of the cost of what a console is. Their best selling console hands down was the Wii and they also found success with the original NES and the SNES, but beyond that they haven't had a lot of success. The Wii-U was a complete flop that almost put Nintendo out of business, the Nintendo 64 was a borderline flop and the Nintendo GameCube was a flop. It is still a bit early to tell, but I do not think that the Switch will surpass the Wii in total sales.
