No. It goes to show that someone cited this "small cutscene" as an exemplar of cinamatic storytelling in video games, and few people agree with him.

As far as what? That its a great cinematic cutscene? Actually it seems like half agree, and the other half are doing the regular SW jargon this place has been known for years.

That scene was even worse than I remember it to be. Wow, and I thought the cutscenes in WoW Cataclysm were poor.

Yeah, I do like endings.

Good cutscene? Yes.

Best in gaming history? Not even close.

This is exactly why MGS4 isn't a good game, because by far the best bit in the game is a cutscene. I want to play games, not watch them.

This is a very cool scene and very fun to watch but it doesn't save the game because it has some of the longest and most boring cutscenes ever. Seriously. When you run into liquid after raging raven near the river. That cutscene bit just drags on and on. I was so bored watching it

This cut scene if anything is funny for being so silly.

watching their games instead of playing them is beyond me.

This is what I generally say but I can't help myself when it comes to MGS4.

I love movies too and this specific kind of over the top cutscenes/dialogue is heaven to me :P That and the gameplay is amazing.

There's around 9 hours of cutscenes divided in 6 Acts. I recommend playing one Act (chapter) per sitting. This gives you a 1.5 hour movie with 3 hours of gameplay. MGS4 is easily one of the best experiences this gen.

I was sceptic to giving it a 10/10 but once I finished the game I decided that this would be an exception because 10 from me usually means it's universally perfect not just personally mindblowing to me. It's definitely a niche title in the sense that it's not for everyone, this I can understand.

Oh and the story is nonsensical, that's what I love about it.

Good cutscene? Yes.

Best in gaming history? Not even close.

This is one of those rare cases where I can agree to disagree without any problems. I understand your point of view to a 100% but to me it's a 10.
