Is Uncharted proof that the PS3 is more powerful than the 360?

IMO, it does prove PS3 is more powerful because Naughty Dog (the creators) said that it only uses 30% of the PS3's power. And even though that it's only 30%, it looks better than every other game out there sans Crysis and a few other PC games.

On topic; I disagree, the graphics are way overrated. It has some nice enviornments but its nothing impressive since Gears of War still looks just as good, especially in terms of character models.

I have to agree. As great and beautiful as AC is, it just can't compare to Uncharted. Maybe in terms of animations but not in terms of overall detail

Actually Mass Effect has as good textures, FAR better lighting, shaders, NPC/hero models/shaders/textures, better shadows, better water and VASTLY better world design and huge spaces, that means it pushes like 10-20x the stuff Drake pushes, making PS3 look like really behind 360 IMO, at least for now

Also the PS3 GPU, is old gen comparing to 360 one, so it is obvious will have the best graphics by far, and a HUGE world due to more ram

They could easily do it on 360... They would just have to require the use of the HDD is all.

It maybe possible on 360. I think we will continue to see games that look better on the PS3. It just takes time to master the new tech.

And yes, Uncharted is the best looking console game to date.

Have you played Uncharted on an HDTV? I have both and can tell you that ME looks great, but isn't as impressive as Uncharted.

I literally get sick from playing ME...the frame rate is so horrible. I cant play any low FPS game for that long...

and so will UT3. Well texture problems anycase...the engine is rubbish.

AC renders out much more than uncharted at any one time, and looks more realistic with an even more epic draw distance. Not to mention the ammount of triangles on screen at ayone time combined with the fluid animations.

Yes, Uncharted did look a bit better than all the 360 games out right now; however, a 360 game will look better than a PS3 game, and then a vice-versa. It doesn't really portray that the PS3 is more powerful than the 360 unless a PS3 game does something radically amazing and brilliant that can't be done on the 360 like how Crysis can't be done on the 360 or PS3. I doubt it will happen but who knows?

Framerate is horrible? It does drop but never does it make the game unplayable, atleast for me.

Gears and Uncharted texture pop-ups weren't so bad. It usually comes out once you start a mission. From there, no texture pop-ups. Also, I don't know what's so bad about texture pop-ups unless they're serious to the extent that they last for more than 10 seconds.

As for Mass Effect, I can't comment on that but from what I heard, it has some nasty framerate issues. Personally, I more worried about that.
