You see RPGgamer, as much as people see you as unbias, when you say something like this you are bound to be called a troll, fanboy, etc...
Why?
-the system is TWO years old and no major third party company believed in it
-Third parties are only now starting to seriously jump in, see why above^
-Virtual Boy is Nintendo's worst console
And last but not least, your comment about nintendo not supporting the Wii like it did others(!) For someone who would rank Nintendo as the best developer after the Wii you should know better. Do you honestly think that Nintendo is going to stop doing what it does best, what it has been doing for decades. I laugh everytime people jump in the "Nintendo is casual" bandwagon because they, so far, have released more core games than casuals. Two years in and we already have a Mario Kart game, Super Mario, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Mario Baseball game, Battalion Wars, Metroid Prime, Mario football game, Super Smash Bros, a Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, Disaster Day of Crisis, and they already announced that AlLL their major teams are working hard etc...
I dont see how they are underperforming, do you want a quality game per month ? Why doesnt anyone demand something like this from any other company?
Truth is, a couple of months without anything major and people scream at Nintendo; the sky is falling, they abandon us, they suck, Myiamoto lost it, its the worst console ever, grannies kideh, cazual bla bla bla...

I say things usually how I feel about them, sure some people may think I'm fanboy but to be honest I don't mind take shots at stuff I really like... in fact the more I expect from something the more likely I am to be nit-picky about it.
- Yes and at two years old I fear the games we have in line coming from the company that I usually wouldn't worry about (said this before).
- The third parties "jumping" aren't doing a whole lot if you ask me. Not only is the quality that most of them offer questionable but so is the pedigree they feel should go on the Wii.
- The VB is hardly a console, if anything it's some piss poor hybrid of a console and a handheld.
I didn't say Nintendo went towards the casual market, to be honest I wouldn't call there current go to market casuals. Of course I'm going to be negative about what they may offer. They say they care about there good old core audience, but yet they show nothing for that audience from their own library. Sure they have their teams working on something, doesn't mean that it's going to be targeted towards their old core audience.
Furthermore many of those games they pumped out the door were not all that hard considering the production values of must could have easily been handled by the GC (of course this might lead me down a rant about my disappointment in their hardware choice, but alas I regress).
I don't want a quality game per month, I want them to at least throw a damn bone to their old core audience inbetween all the waggle-a-song antics, and playing fetch with some dog. :|
