Is X1 Exclusive Launch Lineup More/Less Appealing than PS4s?

tbh, aside from Forza, I don't see anything appealing from X1's launch exclusives.

However, I'm unable to find something appealing from PS4's launch exclusives either. So I'll give it to X1 just because of Forza (and perhaps because I'm also a bit curious to try the new controller).

Anyway, what about you? Which launch lineup (of exclusives) seems more appealing?

Agreed. Same goes for the PS4 though, with Driveclub delayed, I'm not paying £350-400 just to play KZ.

Lems have been gloating about their exclusives but honestly they arent that many over PS4's. Both launch lineups look terrible and out of the exclusives only Killzone SF interests me. I'll wait a year or two before I buy a PS4. Still have plenty to play on my PS3 and PC. Next gen has been very disappointing thus far

The romans were badass. But yeah, Ryse looks uninspired.

we're all bored and clutching at straws, lets ask the same question this time next year and see where were at, Launches are always like this problem is most developers are developing for both next gen and this gen so we won't see anything until end of next year.

Xbox One does have more games at launch their is no denying that but i mean have they thrown all there main games at it right now while sony have infamous coming in jan/feb and a few more tucked up it's selves to show off for next year, while Microsoft have pretty mcuh shown there big guns right off the bat.

and with Gears of war parting ways with microsoft what next.

@bezza2011: Dude, they haven't thrown all their games in right now. Next year it will have Titanfall, quantum break, sunset overdrive, fable, halo etc.

When considering what console to play one should look beyond launch. Anyway to answer your question....launch lineups don't usually win me over. Over the life of the consoles I tend to find more worthwhile exclusives from Sony. Which didn't stop me from buying and Xbox or 360 along with the PS2/3. But this gen......X1 may just be a no show in my home. They have a lot of work to do to get my money.

I'm surprised you included the fitness. It uses Kinect to score your workout so I guess it is in a way. It will get tons of use in my household though so I am actually pumped for it.

Only exclusive launch title I have interest in is Killzone, and I'm not even that interested. I'm not buying these systems just for exclusives though.

These are the only launch exclusives I'm really interested in. I was looking forward to Peggle 2 and Forza 5 but I'm not happy with what I see with Forza 5 and Peggle 2 was pushed back from launch.

Personally I like the look of the PS4 launch lineup more. They may not be exclusive, but I'm excited to play BF4, Blacklight Retribution, Warframe, Assassin's Creed 4, and Need for Speed Rivals.

Plus the announced games from Sony are trumping the little bit of games that MS has shown for after launch.

What I mean by that is that Microsoft have shown all their cards off the bat, we already know whats coming and by Microsoft track record thats all their big hitters already out there

Quantum break it's from the guys who made Alan Wake it will be out in about 10 years lol Alan Wake was ment to be a 360 launch title and it came like 5 years later was it?

Sony still have more than half of there first party developers still under wraps on what there working on, and microsoft just told them pretty much them all the main ones anyway.

Compression is ruining next-gen.

I prefer Microsoft's announced lineup. Primarily Swery and Remedy.

Agreed. Only thing X1 has going for it is launch, after that window things don't look so hot. Hopefully, MSFT is playing it smart.

Both launches are bare-bones but thankfully there should be a bunch of stuff coming by March.

Exactly!! Forza 5, KI & Crimson Dragon will all be on my XB1 by the end of the year.

Only game at launch for PS4 is KZ:SF. Knack isn't worth $60. Helldivers & Rime doesn't come out until later. Only Resogun is probably worth a look for Indie games. I'm throwing my PS4 up on Ebay to see if I can get some desperate sucker to buy it for like $1200. lmao!! My XB1 and games we be free.

Launchlineup is bad for both consoles. If Killzone/Deadrising were mulitplats hardly anyone would talk about them. The multiplats for this fall are way more appealing overall. If I had to pick one exclusive game out of the combined launchlineup it would actually be Ryse. Mostly because I'm a sucker for ancient Rome and the graphics are nice. I guess it will come to PC down the line (like Mass Effect, Alan Wake etc) and it's obv not that exciting of a game.

Comparing just launch titles, XB1 wins pretty much without question.

Killzone SF and DR3 will cancel each other out as top quality, mature action titles from established developers.

Killer Instinct and Resogun cancel each other out as top quality download titles.

PS4 doesn't really have an answer for Forza 5 or Ryse at launch. A year from now, we'll see if it has changed.

To me the PS4 has the better lineup. But not good enough for a purchase.

I don't know why Forza doesn't sell more as series.

Pretty even in terms of what i'm buying.

XBox One dominates launch day and anyone that thinks otherwise is a fanboy.

Both have nothing i'd pay for or want to play through, but if I had to give a winner it'd be PS4 just for Resogun and vastly superior multiplats.

I have to say it really sucks that that abomination Crimson dragon is being made instead of a proper Panzer Dragoon.

Dead Rising 3 is the only decent looking launch exclusive.
