I am also in that minority. I never understand the hate Treyarch gets when compared to Infinity Ward.
If I ever get it, I certainly won't be paying Activision, and I highly doubt I'll play it for more than a few hours at a party somewhere. It'll probably end up as another boring entry in the CoD franchise.
Not even renting this game so no, not interested in MW2 at all i am way to busy with Borderlands and still have over half of U2 main story to complet. The only game i may buy this year is Demon's Souls.
I'll wait for someone else's copy to start collecting dust before buying it. Then I'll play through the single player and trade it in. So probably not.
The rest of the year is looking sort of weak. Most of the stuff I cared about turned into 2010 releases primarily because of this bloody game. Don't know what I'll be playing to be honest. Will try out Borderlands, Dragon Age, Avatar, The Saboteur and Assassin's Creed II, but I'm not expecting any of those to stick.
No, i got Halo 3 to hold me over. *Puts up flameshield*. I'm just going to wait and see what reviewers and fans think about the game before i get CODMW2.
Tekken 6 and Ratchet come out next week to go along with Borderlands which is so addicting, Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, MAG beta, and all the games I'm playing on the PC.
Despite the fact that I'm not getting MW2 for either PS3 or PC but with the sheer amount of awesome games out right now it'd be stupid to devote all the time to one game.
Not getting it, so no. I got tired of COD4, W@W was basically the same style of play, and I hear MW2 is the same style of play as well. The series is stuck in the mud. Besides, I will be playing other games like Ratchet, Uncharted 2 and Mag Beta.
Nah, no interest in MW2 whatsoever. The last trailer was really good, but if I do ever play it, then it'll be used. No money for Activision.

The sky is falling .... I agree with bioshockOwnz.. what is the world coming too? way to go man.. I have tons of better games coming out from publishers other than Activision.. Uncharted 2, NGS2, Demons Souls, Batman AA(still need to finish) NGS:shift, Trine, RAtchet and Clank, Dragons AGe, Brutal Legend, Assassins Creed 2, Borderlands, Tekken 6, Disgaea games , Persona 3 psp, GTA chinatown wars psp, The quest ipod touch, and the countless other games i have in my ever growing collection.
Even before the dedicated servers and user created content fiasco I PC, I was put off. Activision and IW just seem to be in the business of creating fairly sub-standard experiences lately.
I didnt mind modern warfare , but there was no skill what so ever on the multiplayer, and the ranking systemw as horrible, you basically play and you go up levels, what nonsence is this. It needed to be more about skill based leveling like halo 3 's
Nah I'll probably treat it the same way I treated COD4:MW and COD:WAW when I got them for PS3. I'll probably play it every night for an hour or two from November until Christmas but I'll still play other games in between (Borderlands, Halo 3, Gears, SSBB, and Guitar Hero).
