lighting cloth should not be a quicktime event you should just turn with your character and light the cloth on fire you shouldnt  have to press the x button to light the cloth on fire.

Games 20 years ago had real gameplay and todays games dont have gameplay dont even really require a controller just a dvd remote to press play.
