Isnt it funny people laughed at MS for stating 360 will sell more than PS3...

We all thought it was silly, but heck it actually looks like a reality now, the lead that Sony gained this year has been pretty much eaten away with MS soon likely to take the lead. Another thing fanboys didnt understand was that in 07, Sony was selling loads of consoles in Japan, so it was another reason as to how the PS3 'destroyed' the 360 in its first year in sales

Then offcourse, 'teh XBOX 360 is teh doomed!.' Lets get this straight, it doesnt matter where Nintendo, Sony and especially MS finish, first, second or last, long as they make their money. To MS, the 360 is a huge success, and in some areas there is cause for concerns, but at this rate, its going to sell around 40-50 million units with further price cuts, slimmer model and offcourse big exclusives to go that will keep sales affloat.

MS are now making a profit, a healthy one too, Sony on the other hand arent, far from it, but they have established much in their own right like the phat Blu-Ray royalties theyll be getting for the next decade or so and offcourse, the PS3 has taken off this year.

So in other words fanboys, dont make such silly claims until this gen is over, any console, especially given the behemoths that are supporting them, has the ability to do well and none of them are doomed

I did, you said Wii won't get as many high rated games as 360. I'm arguing that Wii already has a lot of good games to match 360's highest ranked games, or was it to hard to figure out?

your right in the end they all win. I give **** loads of credit to nintendo for what they've done, they took a huge gamble by creating an inferior piece of tech, with a new controller that got panned and laughed at right up to release. Then just managed to blow the competition out of water, noone in early 06 would of predicted the wii to do what it's done. Nintendo will be laughing their asses off right now at sony, microsoft and the critics for doubting and criticising the wii.

Microsoft have done well, but their strategy is lets advertise our console 6 hours a day 7 days a week, and hopefully people will buy into it. People did and so microsoft have performed well.

If VGChartz are correct, the 360 has now sold more WW in 2008 than the PS3. Don't think many people saw that coming, it's just like 2007 but in reverse.Floppy_Jim

Guess Sony lovers can stop pissing and crying BU BU ONLY AMERICA, reality is the 360 now has the best games libary of the two (i am not counting only exclusives, i said games libary don't quote this with a silly list that you have written down somewhere.), the best and most vast movies to download, more DLC, more and arguably better Arcade line up and is winning in sales.

I'll give PS3 HOME, it has that..but uh..Oh wait, no one cares about that.
