• Single player/Co-op/Multiplayer(specific modes)
• Characters include the entire Batfamily: Batman, Robin(Tim), Nightwing, Batgirl, Batwoman, Catwoman, Red Hood
• Gotham is about 1.5x the size of AK. Districts and neighborhoods have gone through complete overhaul.
• Gotham is now a “living, breathing city”
• Set Time of Day/Weather(Rain,Overcast,Snow)
• There are random crimes such as car chases, bank robberies, muggings, and so forth.
• Main Villain: Court of Owls
• Story takes inspiration from the different Court of Owls storylines.
• Every character is available in free roam.
• Batman has a redesigned Batmobile(transport only) and the other characters have their cycles
• Batcave serves as main hub for upgrades, character swaps, new missions, game modes
• Game plays similar to past Arkham games, but there are new options for co-op: Dual takedowns in combat/stealth.
• Stealth segments make you work together
• Parkour has been expanded. Characters move a lot quicker and more fluid.
• Main gadgets are the same except for a couple new additions.
• New enemy types include Talons and Pilots(enemies that hover the battlefield, you have to either use a gadget or dual
• takedown to get them down)
• Talons are the same as the ninja types from Arkham Knight. They can counter your counters and also have their own gadgets(knife, throwing knife)
• Game takes place in the Arkhamverse, obviously
• This is supposed to be Rocksteady’s true “last hoorah” of Batman games.

I wanted justice league rumors to be true. dont know what to think of another batman game. but if it will be good like arkham asylum and city than im in.

Rocksteady's formula feels played out.

Justice league game feature batman, superman, flash will be much fresher experience than another batman game. and would probably rival to square enix avengers game.

Meh, loved the series but I was done with it. Hopefully this isn't true and are making something new.

Also, not Batmobile? That sucks.

Never liked the idea of Justice League and never watched the cartoon. It makes their worlds less believable. I'd rather play as Batman, Robin and Batgirl anyday.

batmobile was the reason arkham knight sucked. although batmobile should not focus on combat at all.

Mehh loved the first two games, by the third game I was kind of over it... didn’t help that it was a buggy unstable mess answell!

Fine by me if true. The Court of Owls was a cool storyline in the comics, and the less Batmobile the better.

If this is true, I'd be happy with that. I'm kinda hoping they make another Batman game... just flesh it out more & improve some things.

If The Matrix wasn't relevant anymore, they wouldn't be releasing Reloaded and Revolutions in 4K in November. (By the way, The Matrix in 4K is awesome.) We need those kinds of action games back. If Rockstar won't make more Max Payne, then have WB make Matrix games. I want more of this in my shooters:

Reloaded and Revolution were absolutely suck. and cant compare to masterpiece that original Matrix were. no one care about them. original matrix was big hit.

beside as much as i dislike ironsight but lot of amazing games has ironsight like STALKER (best FPS ever), Crysis and Metro.

I dislike being teased when it comes to another Batman game. All of them (even Origins) were a blessing to play. The description by the o.p. seems TGTBT.

Loved the Batmobile in Knight. Don't know why no one else does, can't work it out.

In any case I loved this series and will no doubt go for some of this especially the thought of free roaming as others. I loved free roaming as Catwoman before.

I'm ok with this would love an ironman game by rocksteady at some point though.

But I only like the Batman universe. I think most people prefer Batman, which is why there's so much of it.

Then, they should add playable batman villains to the game like Clayface.

What a waste if true. Just another example of why DC is getting their asses kicked by Marvel these days. They don't seem to understand that they have other heroes not named Batman.

Batman is enough for marvel alone.

spiderman is kiddy superhero. while batman is somehow dark.

dark knight trilogy is far better than spiderman sam riami trilogy.

Arkham games are still best superhero games ever made.

It'd be unfortunate to have the talent of Rocksteady yet again be focused on another Batman game, as much as I love the character. Three games are enough. Personally I'd be interested with what they could do with Wonder Woman.

There have already been 4 of these, time to move on to something different if you ask me.

Something based on Beyond could be interesting.

Cool if true, I loved the Arkham series, even Arkham Knight which I don't understand the hate beyond PC players getting a crap launch of the game, but the game itself was fun, and I really didn't dislike the Batmobile parts either. I do feel a bit uneasy about multiple playable characters, I can't help but feel it might make the game world cookie cutter in design rather than delivering a focused story.

Well. I might still check it out. Maybe this will be like Halo Reach and they just wanted a better send off. There were still some things that they could've done for Arkham Knight. It's still great as it is though so, I wouldn't be rushing to buy another Batman day one.

These rumors are getting ridiculous now. First it was Rocksteady making a Superman game, then a Justice League game, and now Batman again. I think that we should all just wait until Rocksteady themselves reveal their upcoming game.

Hm? What's the issue exactly? You know that Arkhamverse doesn't share continuity with anything else, right?

I doubt that this rumor is true, but I don't see how two characters existing would be a plot hole, especially when Red Hood is already in Arkham Knight.

You do realize that Batwoman and Batgirl are two completely separate and unrelated characters other than both being part of the Bat Family, right?

I kind of forgot lol.

It all sounds too good to be true -- which makes me immediately suspicious.

But if Rocksteady pulls it off, and it's not another Arkham Knight fiasco for the PC, then I'll be throwing my money at the computer screen. Give us a native Linux version, and I'll be as giddy as a school girl.
