It doesn't look lik Sony going to be able to compete with MS this gen?

What more proof would you need? Why would PS4 outsell X1 like 3:1 ? Why is PS5 demand significantly higher than XS demand? Would the PS4 outsell the X1 like that if MS was producing GOTY winning exclusives every single year like Sony? Obviously not.

Switch is also doing extremely well 1) because its covering the handheld niche and 2) they have some of the best games of the generation, specfically LoZ:BOTW and Mario odyssey

Horizon Forbidden West is going to be fantastic. Spider-Man 2 as well. Those are going to be slam dunks for Sony. A make-believe narrative isn't going to help change the inevitable reality. I think Sony will compete well and do great as usual.

Well PlayStation had a good run but you know what you gotta do now.

These are all great last gen PS4 GAMES, but how is the PS5 actually going to compete? Unreleased game 2, etc, isn't enough. It tells us nothing. At this point, it doesn't even look like Sony is going to be able to compete with Bethesda's releases, never mind the rest of what's coming to Xbox, and if MS decides to fast-track TES6, which you can bet they will, there is no competing. We're looking at Sony in 3rd place.

Sony will do just fine nothing to worry about. Ms will push them harder but that's not saying much after last gen. Sony have a quality 2022 lots to look forward to.
